Great location near ruins, multiple bus lines, river, and grocery.
Huge windows, spacious.
Furnishings a little worn, but clean and comfortable.
Weekend nights were very quiet in this neighborhood.
Complimentary cell phone with map app was helpful.
Would definitely stay again.
Maybe 2.5 stars. The location was good. The hotel is an easy walk to The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and many of the popular tourist destinations. The hotel staff was friendly. We rented two rooms for four nights. The rooms were old and tired and the...More

We rented three efficiency apartments for our family for half of the week when we visited Rome. My husband and I had stayed at the same location five years ago and had a drastically different experience. The location cannot be beat! It is really in...More
We are just back from 4 nights in this hotel. There are so many hotels in Rome and we did our research through Trip Advisor.
Check in was smooth and we were able to check in early as our room was ready. The room itself...More
I was delighted with this apartment. My husband and I were staying two nights with our 21 month toddler. The location is brilliant - within walking distance of Trastevere for food in the evening and most of the major historic sites are on the doorstep....More
Contrary to the chaos of the city, the Aventine is Rome’s oasis. A neighbourhood made up of a patchwork of ancient churches, hidden gardens, private homes and embassies, peace and quiet is top priority and the vibe definitely friends and family. Take a walk around the Aventine and you’ll find a treasure hunt of surprises like the clever little keyhole at the Knights of Malta entrance (the only place you’ll find
a line) along with Parco Savello (Giardino degli Aranci) next to the ancient Santa Sabina church. Keep your eyes on the 1960s architecture, several modern buildings are built atop Rome’s original 4th century BC wall.

Yo should get the whole first floor, it has two rooms and to bathrooms, separated with its own door. Also you get full access to the terrace and breakfast room/kitchen. This is a non smoking hotel but you can smoke in the terrace over the channel, while listening to some live music and watching the gondolas go by.
