Rooms were neat, with comfortable beds and A/C (which was still needed in September). The sisters were very nice, but note that they don't speak English. There was no curfew, which worked really well for my sister and I so we could continue sight seeing later in the evening. Decent breakfast. They let us leave our luggage in the communal...

I stayed at this wonderful convent with my sisters and mother for two weeks this past June. It was immaculate, a beautiful venue, with kind sisters. We have stayed in Italy in convents before, this was by far our favorite place to stay!! We do not speak Italian and had no problem communicating, as the sisters are very helpful. Loved...

Wake up hearing chapel bells. Serene. When I travel I look for a clean, safe place to stay. The destination is important, not the hotel. Remember that this is a convent, not a hotel, and adjust your expectations accordingly. The rooms are small but very, very clean. Clean towels and maid service daily. You can't get a better location on...

All in all we enjoyed our experience here and we would highly recommend it. However, you need to know what you are getting. First the positives. It is ideally located if you want to visit the Vatican. It is about a 1 minute walk to the entrance to the Vatican Museum and a 10 minute walk to St. Peter's. It...

San Giuseppe Della Montagna is a clean, cheap and nice hostel right outside the Vatican wall. It's perfect for anyone who wants a quiet, solemn place to rest between trips around Rome! Service is excellent, breakfast simple but good (the coffee is excellent!) and the environments are very relaxing, even spiritual. The sisters have a nice garden, where guests can...

Stayed from the 4. of January to the 9. with a group of 15 people. The rooms were clean, good beds. The bathroom was also clean. No TV (It's part of a monastary). My room was away from the street, and very quiet. The traffic is not heavy, so the others were not troubled by noice. The breakfast is included,...
