Had a great time here! The host Valerio was so helpful and helped with maps, bookings and tips. The rooms were large and beautiful with newly renovated bathrooms. The central location is also a big plus, walking distance to most things and and relatively easy to find.

Nice place close to Castel Sant'Angelo. Short walk to Vatican Museum. Great alternative to pricy hotels allowing for location. You need to cross the river to get to most of the old town. Around 15min walk to the metro station. Room was quite small but comfortable. Great service from Valerio who runs the place.

Valerio was super friendly and helpful. We got a transfer from the airport which was efficient and hassle free. He spent a good amount of time pointing out to us all the sights to see and where to go. Pretty much everything you would want to see in Rome is walkable. We felt super welcome there.

For me and my 3 kids (age 9-12 years) first time in Rome, my husband had visited earlier. For his opinion B&B Calamatta was with the best location, and as travelling with kids location beside the Castel saint Angelo and it's park was superior- kids played football in the park with local kids, there was also playground. If you are...

Only one word can describe B&B Calamatta! Excellent. From the moment we arrived until we left Valerio could not of been more helpful. On arrival he spent 15 minutes with us marking out all the best routes to follow to ensure we saw as much as possible, including excellent restaurants and the best Gelato shop. Whilst we were away our...

My parents, my sister, and my wife and I needed a place to spend 3 days so that we could experience Rome. We wanted something that was close to all of the major tourist destinations that could accommodate the 5 of us comfortably without being too expensive. I found this place through reviews on tripadvisor and on the booking sites,...

This will be short but Valerio (manages place) made my stay awesome! He helped us map rome and figure out what to do and where to go. Being from America, he simplified rome within 10 minutes on a map for us to keep. Will DEFINITELY be staying again if ever back in rome and would recommend for EVERYONE!

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
