Really loved the main floor terrace, we sat out there at night and it was lovely. We loved we had a balcony that had flowering gardenias. Rooms were nice enough and had small refrigerator. Closets were lite and well designed. There are restaurants across and down the street and also a small convenience store as well. Lobby is really pretty....

The Hotel is quite classy, and with a distinct retro-luxury mood. The room was incredibly big, especially the very high ceiling was impressive, making you feel like you're sleeping in an aristocratic "palazzo". A very nice touch is the terrace where you have breakfast, which is on the rooftop. giving a nice view outside; a pretty nice way to start...

I was here with a bunch of high school students on a European Tour but I would stay here again! The staff were very nice, good wifi, yummy breakfast, and a really cool courtyard where I would sit with my husband after a day of running the roads of Rome! The hotel is very close to the train station and...

The hotel was really nice. Offered a free breakfast which was really nice and plenty to choose from. Our room opened up onto a courtyard which was nice. The beds were comfortable also. Would recommend.

Although brief, my family & I had a great stay here. The front desk was polite and helpful, the quadruple room was spacious with a walk out to their courtyard, and the location was perfect for walking to/from the train station. Third visit to Rome, and this has been my favorite hotel thus far!

The hotel is very convenient for business at the University, and is a 15 minute walk from the Rome central train station (Roma Termini). A well-appointed hotel in an attractive traditional building. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. A very nice courtyard bar and lounge. This is a moderately priced boutique hotel in walking distance to Roma Termini, but away from the noise/hustle & bustle. There are several excellent restaurants in the neighborhood + farmacia + bancomat, etc.... Rooms are nice and fair sized. I had garden, courtyard views which was an extra nice feature. Beds were very comfortable and cotton sheets to die for!...

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
