Colors was a nice place to stay. It is in a residential area near the Vatican so it's quiet at night and peaceful. The rooms are very appealing and clean and I got a good night's sleep.
My only criticism is that there was a...More
Small European style room with shower & sink. The toilet was shared at the end of the hall. The doors & walls are thin and the bed is clean but not the most comfortable. Overall a great location near the Vatican and a good value.
Firstly, this hotel seems to have a mixture of hotel-style and hostel-style (dorm) accommodation so watch out. It's located on a quiet side street close to the Vatican, near to a metro station but is a little outside the "main" centre - so, reasonably convenient...More

Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
