Booked through Bookings and got a great rate. Read the TA reviews. We didn't come to Rome to watch TV so the TV channels were fine. Hotel was very clean - very friendly staff that was very helpful with directions, reservations and suggestions. Nice breakfast and coffee in the morning. More than enough to get your day started before you...

We stayed here with our two children (10 and 8). The family room was essentially a smallish room with a double bed on a mezzanine level above. I saw another family room similarly designed. We had no view whatsoever. But, it is in a great location, is quiet, the staff are charming, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. The breakfast...

I think it should be a 2 stars is in a second floor of an ancient building the lobby was depressing, the room was average but no fridge, the breakfast was lousy, there were nobody to help with the luggage has to take two different elevators. The only good thing was the location very close to spanish steps and Fontana...

It was our second visit to Rome and have liked to stay in the same area as our last time ,near the Antic Rome near to Spanish Steers even though we know that it will cost us more than any other area in Rome. City hotel is 3* star hotel but after our opinion it is not more than 2*.The...

The location of this hotel is excellent, so good in fact that the only time we needed to use public transport was to and from the airport. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and happy to offer advice, call a taxi to the airport etc. However we were a bit dissapointed that they couldn't provide an iron for...

It comes up in the Trevi area but this hotel is actually just off the Piazza Espagna. I'd asked for a twin room and they gave us a double, but they made them up as a twin for the next day. They also after some prompting booked us a table at a local restaurant (Al Moro, sooo good). The room...

We stayed here for 3 nights in June. The hotel is ideally situated just a 5 minute walk from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. The room was very small and the air conditioning broke down on the last night - the temp was over 30! The room was very clean, the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was basic but...

The City Hotel is located in a great area if you love to shop!! The subway is also within minutes to the hotel. The Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are a very quick walk away. The rooms were very spacious considering we had 3 beds in our room. The first night didn't start off very nicely as it poured rain...

This hotel is a perfect location if you are on a city break in Rome. You walk out of the hotel door and within 3 mins you are at the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. The staff were fantastic. Really nice and helpful. The room is small but fine as on a city break you are only in the...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
