This hotel is pretty centrally located in Rome, and you can get to most sights by metro (nearest station 500 m away), or bus (stop just across the street). The area has many shops and restaurants by itself. The rooms were clean, well furnished and had all one could need. Service was very quick.

It's an average quality budget hotel and good for short stays. Hotel's location is convenient. It's 10-min walking distance from Bologna metro station and 10-min metro ride away from the city center. Hotel staff was nice and friendly. The room was decent size and clean; beds and bathroom were good for an average hotel. However, there were no hand soap...

Upon arrival at midnight in Rome my girlfriend and I were both concerned when our Italian speaking only taxi driver dropped us off after failing to locate the hotel after having made a call to them in Italian. Once we located it - very easy in truth - our concerns were soon put aside by a friendly welcome and a...

We were 4 couples on a Jet2 city break, I had requested rooms on higher floors which we all got, ours was 501, very quiet, spotless clean, nice bathroom, and good towels, air con great to. All the others in our party will echo the same. The hotel is great for the Metro and 12 euros 50 buys you a...

We stayed in this hotel for a long weekend at the end of August and found it to be a fairly good base from which to explore Rome, without paying a fortune. It's a 10/15 minute walk from the nearest metro stop (uphill from the hotel, but it's nice that it's downhill coming back!) and has a small supermarket opposite....

I am wringing here now 1 month after our 1 night stay in this so called "4 STAR" hotel delle province. First of all, nice location close to metro Bologna. room is ok, clean and nice except to the noisy "fan- ish" air-condition in the room. Buffet breakfast is great but the 2 waitresses are annoying! Not smiling with the...

This hotel was a disappointment, perhaps because it was last stop on a two week trip and the other hotels were great. The staff was nice and the breakfast was good but over all the beds were uncomfortable and the was not overly clean.

Staff v friendly and helpful. Room was lovely. Minibar prices v reasonable. No real bar area in the hotel as such but theres a nice patio around the back where you can bring out a drink. The selection of breakfast items wasnt to our taste. So much sugar.... overall i would definitely recommend.

Hotel located near the center of Rome. The metro station is 5 minutes away. We went on August 2016 and it was really cheap to sleep there for three nights. Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
