Stayed in a gorgeous room overlooking the Piazza de la Minerve... with a view also of the Pantheon. Outrageously awesome view. Walking distance to everything. Great breakfast. wonderfully quiet despite it's central location. comfortable beds. really sweet staff. ask for a room in the front with a view of the Church and the Piazza.

Nice people, adequate/good rooms but SUPERB location beside the pantheon. We brought our 5 month old son and they gave us a cot and a larger room at no extra charge. V helpful with recommendations for restaurants etc

I've stayed at the Minerva since it opened in 1993 and have always loved the service and the quality of the facility. I always try to get the same room with a view of the Pantheon - arguably the greatest building on earth!

Small rooms. Modern furnishings. It was very hot in Rome when we were there in March but, like a lot of Roman hotels, they refuse to put the a/c on until midsummer. The result is therefore that you either keep the windows shut and bake, or open them and you can't sleep because of the noise in the Piazza, and...

Impressive building nicely furnished with very diligent and courteous service. Rooms are very confortable. However bathroom standards are somewhat outmoded. Top floor restaurant is the place to go for a lovely view of the surrounding rooftops. Breakfast buffet is really good, and dinner is delicious: I recommend the full course menu of regional specialties.

We arrived early on Monday morning following our 6:40 am departure from Birmingham and were greeted by the extremely warm, friendly and helpful staff on reception. Although normal check-in would have been from 3pm, I think they saw the extra set of luggage under our eyes and made a room available 2 hours early. The room on the 4th floor...

Friendly and helpful staff. Cannot ask for a more accessible and useful location. Surrounded by restaurants and local cafes. We enjoyed this hotel so much we cancelled our other hotel for our return leg and booked here again. Made our trip very enjoyable.

I really like this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again but (there is always a but) it’s not really quite on a par with many of the modern, big city five star hotels that I’ve stayed in recently. It was classy but rather old fashioned. This hotel would be perfect if this were still the ‘80s or...

We so enjoyed our stay at this charming hotel! The room was spacious, clean and well appointed and staff very helpful and friendly. A highlight is definitely breakfast at the rooftop garden restaurant with its lovely views, and the location can't be beat - walking distance to everything. We would definitely recommend the hotel and stay here again!

The Grand Hotel de la Minerve is a wonderful place to stay when in Rome. It is a beautiful, clean and convenient hotel. Location is spectacular, and right in the middle of everything you could possibly want to see. Everything is in walking distance. The staff is very friendly and professional, and are always helpful.
