we spent four nights at Relais Giulia. it was a great location on a very quaint street, and its true, each time you turn the corner onto Via Giulia, you feel like you are home...i took the time to make reservations for our 2 weeks in Italy at only registered historic small hotels, and I am so glad this was...

Overall good experience at this hotel. Property is pretty. Location is very good. Morning breakfast is a little sparse. Only issue really was to echo other reviewers' complaints about the staff being really noisy early in the morning and waking us up while they were setting up breakfast.

We stayed at Relais Giulia in Rome for two nights about one week ago. It is a small bed and breakfast hotel, in an old building which probably used to be a residence, but now it is a hotel, like many other buildings of the old city. Undoubtedly the strongest point of the hotel is its location. Very centrally located...

We stayed 4 nights at the Relais Giulia and were really happy with our choice. It was well located for everything, within easy walking distance of all major attractions, particularly close to the Vatican and Piazza Navona and about 30 mins walk from the Colosseum. Our room was unusual and well appointed with a little outside terrace but the bathroom...

We spent 5 days in this wonderful little hotel, it was simply perfect. Right in the heart of Rome only 10 mins walk across the Tiber to the Vatican and situated in a quiet street within an artisan village. Just ideal for us, small bars, shops and cobbled streets. We wandered through these streets and wondered at the joy that...

I've just come back from a 3 night stay at Relais Giulia, a truly charming boutique hotel full of character. The front of house staff were extremely helpful who provided us with a map and pointed us in the right direction of where to find wonderful spots to wonder/eat in the City. Very helpful! We stayed in the suite with...

This one is really a treasure. We felt like we were perfectly situated for all of our tourist stops as well as shopping and restaurants. We actually took a shuttle bus from the airport that dropped us off a half mile away and it was perfect. For our early morning starts to the Vatican we were a fifteen minute walk...

The hotel was delightful, helpful staff, comfy bed, cosy decor and everything you might need. The location was spot on, ten minutes from Campo di Fiori which had a dozen or so nice restaurants, ten minutes from the Vatican, and easy strolling distance to everything else you'd probably want to see in Rome such as the Pantheon and the colosseum....

Small rooms with everything one would need for better than basic comfort. A generous breakfast, without eggs though. Service staff very friendly and helpful. Love the maze of stairs, feels like you are actually in Rome!
