Based on previous reviews the location was excellent for us as we were 500mt from the Trevi Fontains and 600mt to Piazza di Espagna! This was only a 7 minute walk! The following day we asked the friendly blonde lady at reception how far of...More

Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural
storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.

I don't know if they have any rooms specifically for wheelchairs. We were on the 3rd floor, there is an elevator. The elevator is European style, small. I believe there was carpeted hallways. Our room, you would be able to access easily in a wheelchair. It had a large bathroom, but no step in shower. You actually had to step high into a tub. Hope that helps.
