First, the location is amazing! In the center of Rome (steps from piaza Barbarini and the metro). Second, the room is very cosey and elegant. Third, what a great food!!! Every breakfast is fresh and tasty. We ate dinner once and it was great too. The service was generous and pleasing. The Wifi needs improvement though. But all in all...

Excellent location, helpful staff and regular breakfast. Great hotel for couples. Walking distance to several sights, therefore walking shoes is better choice than heels. Nice Pepy's bar in Piazza Barberini, close to the hotel.

Right around the corner from the famous restaurant row. Now the hotel, I was traveling but had a little work to do also so i chose hotels with free...

Stayed here two nights last month. Very easily accessible from Rome's main trainstation; just a couple of blocks from the metro. Within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and the Spanish Steps. The staff were pleasant, accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was good: yogurt, cereal, a selection of fruits, meats, cheeses and breads. Great bathroom with a jacuzzi...

Only got to stay here for one night but would certainly come again. Very pleasant staff, clean and well presented hotel, and ours was a very nice room with WiFi, jacuzzi bath, fridge and lots of space. Unfortunately, as with many European hotels, you don't get a tea tray with tea and coffee. Great location with the Metro 2 minutes...

My wife and I stayed for six nights during our week long visit of Rome. We are rather picky and visited websites, travel sites, hotel sites looking at reviews, photos and everything we could find for about a week before deciding on the Ottocento. For convenience, we had the hotel arrange transport from the airport (Mercedes sedan, 55 Euro each...

Albergo Occento is discretely located just around the corner from the Barberini Metro Station about 75 yards, which is on the main A line giving access to many of the important tourist attractions in Rome. Only a short walk and you are at the Trevi Fountain or the Spanish steps. We also walked up to the Villa Borgese and Piazza...

Good hotel, perfect location, friendly and helpfull staff at the front office. We stayed there for a couple of days and found everything to be ok...except for the breakfast time. There was a lot of confusion during those hours maybe because the waitress always seemed to be nervous on somebody and resentful. She didn't quite understand what we were asking,...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
