Beautiful hotel with Great location in the center of the city Interacted with Francesco at the entrance who showed me exceptional kindness and hospitality in sourcing a taxi for me even though I wasn’t a guest and then walking me to taxi and opening door He represents the hotel in a very professional manner and enhances its reputation for fine service and he is a great ambassador for the City of Rome

Chose this hotel based on location and reviews. It did not disappoint! Close to the Termini train station, yet easy walk to most of Rome’s iconic locations. The staff and service were impeccable. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a First Class experience

My husband and I satyed at the hotel in Janurary 2024 for 4 nights for our 6 year wedding anniversary and it was truly a 5 star experience. From the moment we arrived the valet greeted us with warm smiles, then we were greeted by the friendly reception team. A special thank you to Mariam the front office manager, and Laura the guest relations manager for making our anniversary trip so memorable. Also, at breakfast we had the pleasure of being served by Kalthoum who remembered our names and placed us at our favorite table every morning. The hotel is beautiful but what made our trip truly 5 star was the wonderful staff. Thank you again for all your hospitality. <3

Unfortunately, this hotel forever sets the bar so high for our family summer vacations that no other hotel / experience will compare. From the service (check in, cleaning, room service), location, dessert bar at lobby, to taxi concierge in the front, this hotel was a luxurious, but cozy, gem. We stayed in the granary portion of the hotel, with hallways so wide and long that my tween daughters played hide and seek and worked off their excess energy on our way to our room. Our room overlooked a parking lot (with a desk attendant at bottom), which turns out to be the best feature. It was quiet, safe, and permitted the massive 4 feet (?) windows to open the whole way. There was a massive window nook with one comfortable reading chair - perfect for this parent to unwind. Families with little children should absolutely not open this window. The beds were comfortable and the hotel kindly gave us a third bed when the check in attendant saw how tall my daughters were. I expected a normal bedroom size, but perhaps because our room was in the "old" part of the hotel, our room was larger than most NYC apartments. With maybe 15 feet (or more) ceiling, it felt even larger. We had 3 beds, as I stated, plus a couch, and a desk, plus a sizable bathroom with separate bathroom w/ bidet. We had early check in - which was a blessing as we came from overnight flight from the US. While we waited for our room to be ready, the kids used the empty rooftop pool (empty because every other tourist was out and about and the water was cold). Amazing. We found later during our stay that the water is warmish by early afternoon, again perfect for the kids to unwind after busy days of touristing. The pictures on the website does not do the pool justice because it missed the whirlpool at the edge of the pool (extension of the pool, with sitting area, great for the adults to dip into with drinks and fun bubbles for the kids to play in), and the large sitting area with lounge beds off the to the side of the pool. If there is on criticism I have is for the hotel to have a wider selection of small snacks that are child-friendly (or small pizza appetizer) at the pool. We would have stayed for many hours had that been the case! Nevertheless, we had unlimited potato chips at the pool so thank you!! Room service - clutch when traveling with kids - was great, reasonable prices, comes quickly and the menu is child (read: American) friendly. I am very grateful for this. Some reviews discussed the location of this hotel, which is not as central as other 5 star hotels - I remember wondering if I would regret booking Anantara. I found Anantara actually has amazing location. (1) The taxi concierge out front found us a taxi at all hours of the day / night with no issues; almost everywhere we go was about EUR 10 so not an issue. (2) Anantara is 2 blocks away from the main bus and train terminal (Termini), making it the perfect home base for our day trips to other parts of Italy (Naples, Florence and Venice). I did not have to stress building in extra time for taxi to make our 7a train, for example. and (3) Termini is the first stop for Hop On - Hop Off bus! This totally made one of our days, as the kids had first dips on the prime seating to explore Rome. The hotel is also close to one of the main thoroughfares with stores, crepe fast food places, pizzerias, and (if I remember correctly) McDonald's. If I was traveling with adults, I probably could have walked to Piazza Navona in ~20 minutes. In other words, good location for both adults and families. We came home from dinner one evening to a short-lived blackout at the hotel, which made for a fun adventure, as my daughters and I explored the basement level and checked out the Roman ruins under the hotel in semi darkness. That was a memory in and of itself. Lastly, the dessert cafe at the lobby. It was my girls' breakfast and sugar breaks on many days. It was decadent without feeling bogged down. The coffee for me was amazing, of course this being Italy. We loved it so much that on the one day the cafe closed, we tracked down its main branch in another part of Rome just for one last taste. Great marketing there! The bar at the lobby had many cozy nooks for couples although of course, I made no use of this with my daughters. I did note that we were not frowned upon when we entered during "happy hour" to check out the decor (and take pictures), which I appreciated. No review can describe how this hotel made our vacation. We stayed for 8 nights, and there is no way we will stay anywhere else the next time we are in Rome. Many thanks to the Anantara Naiadi team.

We stayed here as a treat as part of our European vacation. The location is flawless - a 10-15 min walk to the central station and in the perfect walking distance to most main attractions (Colosseum, Trevi). The exterior is grand and luxurious and we were lucky to be there at its official grand opening with red carpet entrance. The rooms are exactly what you would expect - sumptuous old world charm - large and airy, tall ceilings, floor to ceiling curtains - just decadence. We were lucky to be on the top floor and a corner room - definitely recommend this - as we had two balconies in our suite, overlooking different vistas of Rome. We had an amazing view down Via Nazionale and across the city centre. The service from staff is simply exceptional and memorable. From the moment we entered we were warmly greeted and treated like family returning home. Nothing was too much trouble and the concierge staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We don't normally interact with staff much, however Valentina's service was simply outstanding and I wish all hotel staff could meet the high standard her and the other concierge staff set. All our tourism bookings were taken care of by the front desk, recommendations and ideas of what to see. Make sure you pick up a paper map from the front desk - it has perfectly mapped out walks that veer off the Google maps path but take you down the old viaducts and alleys. We used these quiet trod paths many times and loved seeing old Rome, instead of the busy main paths to the attractions. We would love to return to Anantara at Rome again!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Came with my girlfriend for Valentines, and the staff were incredible throughout and made us feel like royalty. Lucky enough to also have our room upgraded for free. We are both vegan, and the staff in the breakfast were ever so helpful, the chef made us vegan pancakes and other treats just for us at no extra cost. Although, a lot of people in 2024 are becoming vegan or wanting to have plant based options, so I think it would be good for the hotel to have these on offer all the time. Only other downside was that the pool wasn’t open. I think a 5 star hotel should have these amenities open to the public all year. It was great weather and would have loved to have been able to use the rooftop pool. Will visit again, thank you.

Almost a perfect stay, just a few little details to improve. The hotel is beautiful and elegant with a good location. The staff is friendly and prompt . Breakfast was good with an excellent variety but some items were not of the best quality like the sausage and sautéed eggs. The ventilation system in the room is a bit noisy . Overall was a very good stay and I will come back.

I was staying at another hotel and I was sent to this one for my massage appointment. While waiting for my appointment I met three amazing people working behind the bar. Cristina, Flavia, and Valerio greeted me with amazing cocktails and great conversation. My time spent with them was so great I decided to return every day to see them. All three bring incredible value to the hotel and give you the experience you desire when traveling. I will 100% be returning to see them.
