I've stayed for 4 night this june and I can say that is a very good hotel. The staff, the services are very very good. Some people say that the breakfast is too poor or not too diversificated. Let me tell you that the breakfast...More
I chose this hotel for its location, as I was going to the Italian Open tennis at the Foro Italico. It was only 20-25 minutes walk, and the hotel is in a pleasant area (seemed to be residential and businesses, not really touristy). It's about 15...More

The hotel would book a local taxi on your behalf and you pay the driver, so there is no advantage in doing this. Get your own taxi at the station. It will be quicker and cost no more than via the hotel. Make sure it is a 'proper' taxi, not a cowboy. Once in Rome, walk or use the bus. It's the best way to 'do' Rome. Enjoy!

Hi...today my husband booked us a weeks stay with you in February to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary which we are very excited about...I was wondering if you could advise us on a couple of matters please? What weather should we expect for this time of year? This is so we knot what clothing would be appropriate to bring. Also we have booked and paid for shared transportation via shuttle from the airport to what it says is city centre hotel...hotels outside city centre may incur extra charge...is this something we should expect please? Many thanks and look forward to meeting you in February.

Hopefully the hotel will get back to you directly with answers to your questions but as far as the weather goes, in May 2015 we had one day when it was 35 degrees in Rome and I heard someone last week here in NZ say they have just got back and they had 45 degrees in Rome !! I try to travel with light cotton "quick drying" clothes. Unfortunately I'm not sure if the hotel is within what would be regarded as "central city" but we caught a taxi from the airport between the three of us and it wasn't overly pricey. Though I expect the shared shuttle should be cheaper for you. Have you considered getting a Roma pass for transport and quick entrance to some attractions? The staff are very helpful and if you ask them about restaurants they will point you in the right direction. Have a great stay.
