I can confirm you that this has been just an isolated incident and unfortunately we were not able to manage the situation with you the following morning. You can understand that this is not often the case, so our reception has been unprepared.

From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to

look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.

When we stayed at tbe Mozart we did not need reservations to visit the bar or the restaurant on the roof of the hotel. The view from the roof area was nice but not quite as breathtaking as we expected it to be as the hotel is not all that tall and pretty much equal in height as the surroundibg buildings in Rome city! I would describe it as a local view rather than a panoramic city view!
From the rooftop there is a very nice view of the lit up cathederal dome and the sky was in the evenings was very pretty. The food and the service in the restaurant was amazingly good and we found foods to our liking. We bought a nice bottle of wine and we had lovely dinner on the rooftop!
As long as you book the hotel you will stay in the hotel. Pay careful attention if you are booking on the hotel's website because the choice of rooms includes both the hotel and Vivaldi suite rooms.
