In the first place it looked like a nice hotel, because you get the hotelroom nice and clean, but after a few days I changed my mind. I don't want to say it's a bad hotel, but I definitely don't recommend this hotel. To get into the hotel you have to press a bell and that's annoying sometimes, because then...

It was not about the room. That was nice. Not great but nice. It was about the behaviour of the owners/manager. 1.Two days before our trip, we were informed by booking.com that our last day's booking in the hotel was canceled because the hotel would be closed. This is a lie! It is not going to be closed. I checked...

I booked 2 different stays in same time, because I did not know this hotel is so bad. First time I had a room. In the bathroom smelt some fresh paint and no door on the shower cabin so when I took a shower everything was full water. The heating was not enough and the air condition did not work...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
