Breakfast was ok, friendly staff, location excellent but our room was not what we expected! Did not look like the pictures, the door lock was very old and difficult to use, smelled of smoke. Quite disappointing as we were so looking forward to the beautiful room as pictured

We stayed at Notti a Roma for 5 nights. Flight was delayed and receptionist awaited us patiently giving us great service late at night. Premises is small at first floor. Location is great just a few metres from Via Nazionale, bus stops, metro stop at Piazza Repubblica and around 10 mins to Termini station. Entrance with a small number of...

My partner Janice and I spent three nights at the Notti a Roma and loved it there. It's in an ideal location to use as a base to explore the sights of Rome. Just a few minutes walk from the Metro underground trains and close to the Central train station, and there are many restaurants, bars and shops just a...

We had booked a nights stay in Notti a Roma for June 14th on the phone yesterday. I was told there was availability and canceled the hotel we had previously booked on that basis as had stayed there a few times previously and loved it but was very disappointed to receive an email today to tell me they had made...

Great staff! Very very kind and helpful. Great location for seeing Rome. Although the hotel needs a decor update and some repairs, the kindness of the staff makes up for it! Thank you for making our stay so pleasant! We had a wonderful time! Special thanks to James, Salvo and Marco: you guys are such a wonderful bunch!

So first off, make sure you bring a white noise maker. The walls are very thin and we heard about everything. The room was a fair size but the beds were very uncomfortable. The bathroom was fair size again but the shower ' s grout wasn't cleaned very well. The air conditioner worked great which was a plus because it...

We spent two weekend nights at the Notti a Roma B&B, choosing it based on the positive reviews and reasonable price. It is extremely well-situated, a short walk from the main Termini train station and half a block from the Via Nazionale. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful, volunteering tips on what to do and offering assistance whenever they...

Although this " B & B " is very small, and the furniture old, we are glad we stayed because the location was perfect. I hesitate to even call it a B & B, more like a hotel with breakfast included. Don't get excited about the breakfast -- it's boring and lacks variety. But it's better than nothing. There is...

This is the worst hotel I ever had the misfortune to stay. The breakfast is abominable and without any inspiration. The salami and cheese always where covered by a plastic wrapping, like you store something in your fridge. We stayed three nights and every morning there was another waitress who each lacked any enthusiasm. The day before we left, I...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
