The hotel was a good. It was very easy to reach Termini. The rooms were ok. I especialy liked the lift. I felt like traveling in history. The ladies in the hotel-Cristina and Anna- were so helpful, friendly and nice. I liked everything. Next time I travel to Rome I will consider staying in this hotel again.

I must say its the best location in good price... It is located near Roma termini station which is the central station in Rome. You can connect easily throughout Italy. As far as hotel is concern it is good, the lady at the reception is very helpful, informative and kind. But the only problem I had was that the rooms...

The location of the hotel is 10mins walk from Termini station. Room was cleaned daily and came with basic toiletries (shampoo/soap). Room has air conditioner, hair dryer and a small fridge too. If you stay here, you must visit Cafe Pretorio for the cheap and good Italian breakfast which is about 5mins walk from the hotel.

Foolishly, only read previous reviews AFTER I'd booked so I was concerned what we'd find, but it was OK. Our room was in a building that has a number of hotels within it. The decor is dated but rooms on-suite, brilliant white clean bedding, memory foam pillows. TV in room, however no English channels but you won't have time to...

We stayed for 3 nights and it was really good. Reception running non-stop, one of the ladies didn't speak much English, but was very helpful. Note that you can't pay by card, only cash. Rooms are nice, beds too soft (hotel standard). Small fridge on room (for use, not mini bar) and also equipment for preparing coffee and tea in...

The rooms were decent and comfortable with enough space. Ours had bunkbeds which we didn't mind at all...... Walking distance to the train and many other attractions. Plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Located on the top floor of a building that I found quite charming, Cristina Hotel is a quick 10 min walk from Termini Station; good for connecting to the airport and catching the metro or bus to other areas of Rome. Hot water all day, beds quite comfortable, and rooms were spacious enough for my friend and I. Hotel staff...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
