Hotel Fellini is in a perfect spot for all the attractions. Bedrooms are clean and functional with friendly staff. On a personal note, the manager helped us out when the hotel we booked from England was closed when we arrived (yes closed!) I had to source a hotel that night on my own. Hotel Fellini helped me out for sure. I cannot thank them and the staff enough for the help. The hotel was that good we ended up staying there the whole time. Would highly recommend to all.
The room was quite small and didn't have a bathroom inside it, we had to walk across half the corridor to get to our bathroom, bumping into other guests on the way. If you can avoid this type of room at all costs. Also, we were told breakfast was included but were then charged as we were checking out. Since we had to make our flight we didn't really have much time to argue. Beware of this as well.
Hotel is on a side street easy to miss but once you inside cannot adult it . Staff friendly , rooms are small but there is enough room ,they are immaculate can’t fault the cleanliness. Breakfast is basic continental but there is plenty for everyone all in all very good value for money highly recommend
The taxi had a bit of a job finding the Hotel. The road didn't even look like you should be driving down it, but it was fine. Check in was easy and we got the lowdown on local sights to see, from friendly receptionist. The smallness of the room was a little disappointing but only what I had expected based on reviews here. It was adequate, storage was sufficient and the bathroom was good. Even though it was January, the room was warm. We switched off the aircon and occasionally opened the window, so all was good. The lift only took two people but generally this wasn't a problem. Breakfast was not extensive but had enough variety to make it interesting. I loved the local area. A couple of hundred metres at most to the Trev is fountain which had a good feel to it especially in the evening. At the bottom of the road was a 'British Pub' The Albert which had a good friendly atmosphere. Sadly it closed for holidays the day after we visited. We ate three evenings in a restaurant just up from the hotel - Albrecht. It had the some Rome specialities we wanted to try and was reasonably priced. Worth a special mention are the staff who were always friendly and helpful. They printed boarding passes and Vatican tickets, arranged airport tranfers and generally made our stay easy. I would recommend to others and would stay again but maybe pay for a larger room.…
Generally, I loved the area. I stayed in the smallest room which was a little bit catastrophic. Try to stay bigger rooms, however the hotel is very clean, and the staff were great. The value is also very good.
