Very clean, very quiet, very friendly, close to Ottaviano metro stop, walking distance to Vatican. No breakfast, but there is a fantastic bakery on your way to the metro stop - on Via Barletta, I think - you can't miss it, there is typically a line going downstairs from the sidewalk - with a large selection of inexpensive baked goods....

This little hotel is a safe haven in the middle of a very choatic Rome. They provide lots of amenities for the price and really try hard to help you out so your stay is more comfortable. I must admit, the rooms are quite small and the beds a tiny bit on the hard side, but the location and friendly...

In June when things are in full tourist swing, this little hotel, located in a block of flats about ten minutes from the Vatican is an oasis of calm. Riding up the little cage elevator to the hotel suite was a bit like riding the elevator to visit Hercule Poirot -- tastful with a hint of mystery. Reasonably priced, a...

Had the opportunity to stay at Hotel San Pietrino and what a great experience. It is close to the metro stop Ottaviano so it is easy to reach the Vatican and only couple stops from major sightseeing spots. The people who run the hotel are extremely friendly and are always willing to help in any way that they can. I...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel is beautifully decorated with terracotta floors and tasteful wood furniture. The extras such as TV/DVD/ADSL - are unusual for a place in this category. Housed in a 19th-century palazzo, it's a simple and cosy place, run by young and service-oriented staff providing 24/7 full support to the guests. No breakfast is provided - no great loss as it's surrounded by convenient cafes and restaurants. Some guides consider it the best value for money in Rome. ... more   less

“Perhaps if you speak italian, you will like the hotel It was noisy at night, since the ac system must have been off for the season, so we had the windows opened. I know I seem like a complainer, as I read one bad review previous to our visit, but I feel that was the most honest. in the reviews that I read on your forum”
