Located in the heart of Rome, one step away from every cultural place that have made this town a dream to visit, this b&b is clean, with a familiar vibe and lovely people that run it. I will come back here every time I can!

Located blocks away from Termini Station. Nice and clean, quiet building, super nice breakfast and very friendly/helpful staff. Wi-Fi, fridge, safe... what else can you need? When visiting Rome with a budget in mind, this is your best choice!

A lovely and very friendly little B&B just 5 minutes walk from the central station. We stayed there for 3 nights. They do a good generous breakfast that as well as the regular cereal, toast etc includes something different each day, sometimes home-cooked delights. We walked to all the major sites from the hotel, where the Coloseum isn't all that...

As per the above title, Carlo Alberto B&B provided exceptional service, centralized location and a very affordable price. Pros: service, location (5 minutes from Termini station - Rome's main station), affordable price, home made breakfast. Cons: The surrounding area isn't all that pleasant, little bit dirty and somewhat of a poorer/ethnic suburb. However the hotel is very safe and secure....

Thank you for your feedback, we would like to correct information that Carlo Alberto House is located on the 4th floor with elevator to the 5th floor or if you want to walk, we remind our customers that the building being old, dating back to the time Umberto I, has no lift to the first floor. But we are not...

It was absolutely wonderful. They made us feel really welcome and comfortable. It's location is the best: right next to vittorio emanuele metro station and 5' walk from termini. Highly recommend it, if you want a budget and enjoyable stay.

We have recently speeded a week in Carlo Alberto B&B while we were looking for an apartment in Rome (as we are moving here for a year). The location was perfect for our purpose, as Carlo Alberto is very well communicated: vittorio emanuele metro station (mentro A) is just in front of the B&B and Termini metro/train station is just...

We stayed for 4 nights in early January and had a wonderful time. Our double room was large, comfortable, and attractive (it's the green one you see in the photographs) and our bathroom was well-maintained and reasonably well-sized. The hostel was very clean and peacefully quiet. The management was very friendly and provided an enormous, delicious breakfast every morning (even...

I've been in Rome from Friday morning till Monday afternoon with my girlfriend. The owner, Letizia, gave us a big room here instead of the initial hostel we booked. Both her properties but this one had bigger rooms, so for the same money we got a better deal. Thus I can say the staff is honest and available and offers...

We stayed here for two nights. The room was nice and clean, and we were happy to have our own bathroom for such low cost. Staff were very friendly. The location was sweet, it takes only few steps to the metro.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
