I have just returned from a 5 nights stay in this hotel. I spent 2 weeks inter-railing around Italy and this was by far our least favourite hotel: - Although very near the train station, too far away from the main attractions - Breakfast was very basic and the same everyday. The breakfast room was far to small and somethings...

I stayed at the Windrose Hotel for five nights and had an awesome experience. The hotel was very easy to find and is about five minutes walk from Termini Station. When I arrived, the front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. Check in was a breeze...fast and easy. My room was on the 5th floor. I had a nice...

We arrived from Termini to this hotel in record time and was a bit early. The lobby was nice and we waited about 20 minutes and was able to check in. I prepaid for the hotel so the check in was fast. Our room was very nice, some people would call it small but it's a room in Europe, and...

The Windrose Hotel is situated about 5 minutes walk from Roma Termini and its associated bus station, which provides frequent bus services to Vatican City and other areas of Rome if you don't feel like walking. The hotel itself is in a reasonably quiet area and is very clean and comfortable, with a good size lounge area which also provides...

The staff was super helpful with planning transportation to attractions and making suggestions for good spots for lunch/shopping, etc. The room was small but clean and had great water pressure in the shower. I liked that I had a window to open for some fresh air and quiet city noise. The free breakfast and WiFi were a big bonus. I...

A single room with a bathtub and hot water really comforted me every night after enjoyable but long tiring walking in the town during my five-day stay at Windrose. The room was beautifully clean and of cozy size for one person, and its additional small terrace gave me a good time for relaxing every morning as well. The hotel is...

Windrose is located on Rue de cheroy, which is at just 5 mins walk away from Roma Termini. It has a good waiting place, nice lobby a small but cute restaurant. Breakfast offerings are good. An automatic coffee dispensing machine, which dispenses coffee for as little as 1.20 Euro. But when it comes to rooms, they are very small in...

Just returned today from Rome after a four day stay. We stayed at the Windrose Hotel in the center of Rome. We were on our annual Boys Week End. We booked a triple room which was a little basic, but really server the purpose. My only comment is that the dinning room is far to small for the size of...

We stayed with our two young children for a few days. It was a nice hotel. It was clean and accommodating. The staff were extremely nice. Our room was small but if you are just using it to sleep and shower then it's a great place for you to stay. It is within walking distance of the bus stops and...

We are happy with the location being so close to Termini Station. The staff are not-so-helpful but we really didn't ask for any assistance anyways. The breakfast is really not good - although the service is very good. Kids didn't like the food. Nothing special about the place except the location. The family room is big enough for our three...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
