Great location and another good hotel through Rick Steve's recommendation. Decor is outdated but besides this, spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet rooms in the center of Rome. Stayed for one night and it was a perfect base for exploring Rome and getting the train to Florence the following day.

Short city break ,but it was really nice to be back to Oceania Hotel. Spacious ,recently renovated room with a wooden floor .Very clean ,nicely furnished in Roman style. Comfortable bathroom. Hotel is located in the lovely historical building ,having an elevator so no worry about carrying your luggage .Just a few steps away from Piazza Barberini ,my fav .landmark in Roma... Roma Termini is walking distance as well. so for me its a perfect location.Friendly staff always willing to help you, whenever you need ,serving a good cup of espresso or just chat with you .Grazie m. Tira;) cannot wait to return to you..

I did not know what to expect when I booked here. And I got nervous when we arrived because I didn't know the hotel was on the 3rd floor of the building! But we followed the signs and took the elevator to find the reception area. The concierge folks have been absolutely lovely. The breakfast room has been staffed by the most gracious host. She remembers our room number and preferences each morning. The room is comfortable. We even have a fridge. (That allowed us to pick up some snacks at the Pam Local grocery close by.) The location is perfect, and man, was the price right. I would absolutely stay here again.

We especially loved: Anna and Kira's friendliness; fine breakfasts; quiet premises on an interior courtyard off the the street (which itself is quiet); close walking to subway and to multiple buses. Our room was spacious, well kept up, and the shower was good. We enjoyed the sounds of music wafting up from the salon on the ground floor!

Misleading website. Google and their website advertise "complimentary" breakfast but they charged us 10 Euros per person extra per day for breakfast when we checked out. Otherwise the stay was pleasant but this unexpected charge soured our visit.
