I spent 3 days in that hotel, and I keep a good souvenir of it. Good points are: Located not far than the train station, the city center can be joint by walking, very good price, hotel is clean, the breakfast is correct. But: the room is small (especially the bathroom), a little bit noisy (train station not far), the...

The hotel is well located, easy access to all means of transport, it is located near the train station, relative central. The hotel is clean and simple, the staff is friendly. The hotel restaurant is only available only for breakfast. A good place to discover a city full of history.

The hotel is clean and well located. Walking distance from colosseum and the local market in Rome. However the receptionist and the restaurant in charge for breakfast were unwelcoming. Breakfast got finished half way the breakfast time. Would have asked for more friendliness in answering general queries and requests.

We stayed for 2 nights post cruise. Within walking distance of the Colosseum and situated within easy reach of the metro. Tram stop nearby. Our room was clean and of a good size. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. Would stay again.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
