We stayed for 2 nights post cruise. Within walking distance of the Colosseum and situated within easy reach of the metro. Tram stop nearby. Our room was clean and of a good size. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. Would stay again.

Very good hotel, in my opinion. The room was very clean and smelled really nice. The breakfast was good and it was more than enough to get you started for a whole day of walking in Rome. The area is a little bit noisy but to be honest (I knew it from the beginning) we were so tired at night...

We probably should have paid for a bit better hotel. The noise from Termini Station was bad during the day and with such thin walls the noises from other guests and a toilet flushing on the other side of the wall from our bed made it not much better at night. The walk to Termini was at least 20 minutes...

We arrived at Termini Station by Airport shuttle bus, which dropped us off on the same street as where Hotel Parker is on and we walked to the hotel with our luggage no problem. The hotel entrance was small but easy enough to find. Our room was on the 3rd floor, there was elevators working ok. The room was not...

Hotel Parker is located just walking distance to the main Rome railway & bus station. The surroundings look a bit unsafe initially, however, we walked around a fair bit at night and did not have any problem doing so. It is a small Hotel but served our purpose for the 2 nights we stayed ther. Small bedroom & bathroom but...

Just recently visited this hotel and if your happy to bath in your airless room with sweat this is the place - they control the aircon which is on timer and you have no control failing to end up with shocking airless sleeps! It appears no one wants to be the manager and no one wants to help out (...

Excellent little hotel perfectly located. We stayed for seven nights. Room and bathroom a bit small but nothing out of the ordinary in this pricerange. The room and bathroom were clean and generally well kept. The beakfast is simple but sufficient and also they accomodated glutenfree on request. We got a big bag with lots of different breads. The area...

Although the hotel is well located as it is walking distance to the Colosseum, from the very beginning I felt very disappointed. The lady who was at the front desk when we arrived was rude with us. Zero customer service during all the stay. The room was tiny and very noisy due to the train station that is very close....

Not a bad hotel. The train can be heard quite loudly from the rooms on that side of the building. But we had a fantastic experience with "Christina" at the front desk who gave us a new room and organised for our bags to be moved into it for us. Thanks

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
