Stayed for four nights here in January 2008 and found to be a great value for money hotel. Room was very clean and was cleaned out each day we were there and bathroom completely cleaned also.Towels were changed every day and bed remade also. We paid £141 for four nights and would think that would be very difficult to beat...

My partner and I just got back from Rome where we stayed at the Parker Hotel for 3 nights. The Hotel is smart, and spotlessly clean. Our beds were made every day! Some of the staff do appear to be rude or abrupt but I think this may be a "language barrier lack of confidence thing". On the whole they...

We recently stayed at the Hotel Parker for a week and found it catered for all of our needs. The rooms were cleaned everyday and unlike other travellers reviews we had full control of the air conditioning in our room. The hotel is in a good location with many places to eat in the surrounding area, although some may find...

When we made a booking, main thing was that the hotel has AIR CONDITIONING and Hotel Parker was supposed to have it (I assume that air conditioning means that it is available 24/7). Well, first night was quite okay, but after that air conditioning was working few hours at the time. Complaining didn´t help at all...I don´t know if they...

After sleepless night and 14 hours on the road (flight from New York to Rome, etc) we came to the Parker to be told that our hotel vouchers are no good, they have no clue who our travel arrangers are and they don't have any reservation for us. Wellcome to your vacation! Apparently reservations/front desk manager did not bother to...

Hotel Parker is not bad value for money. My room was single with all the usual facilities. Very clean. Good breakfast offered. Unfortunately there were some unbelievable faults which were not given in any of the reviews I previously read. (Aug.2005) Outside the lift was a massive hole with a board covering it.... Each time my party came into the...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
