Excellent little hotel perfectly located. We stayed for seven nights. Room and bathroom a bit small but nothing out of the ordinary in this pricerange. The room and bathroom were clean and generally well kept. The beakfast is simple but sufficient and also they accomodated glutenfree on request. We got a big bag with lots of different breads. The area...

Although the hotel is well located as it is walking distance to the Colosseum, from the very beginning I felt very disappointed. The lady who was at the front desk when we arrived was rude with us. Zero customer service during all the stay. The room was tiny and very noisy due to the train station that is very close....

Not a bad hotel. The train can be heard quite loudly from the rooms on that side of the building. But we had a fantastic experience with "Christina" at the front desk who gave us a new room and organised for our bags to be moved into it for us. Thanks

The staff are professional and courteous with a very good level of English. I was even offered free wifi for the duration of my stay (which the website said it did not have) so that was a very pleasant surprise. My room was on the 4th floor but there was a working lift. The room was a single (solo traveler)...

Our original booking couldn't accommodate us, so we were sent here. Turned out to be a great place. Clean rooms, helpful staff, good breakfasts, and easy to get to tourist spots. Would stay here again.

We stayed 4 nights in Parker Hotel. Great comfortable Hotel. Bathroom quite small, but was okay. Breakfast is also okay. We would highly recommend the hote. May one negative point is, that next metro station (Manzoni) is quite far (15min by walk). At evening/night not so recommendable if you are alone. In sum, would have a good stay at Parker...

Hotel Parker was a delightful place. Small, but very clean, well-kept, service staff very friendly and helpful. Good variety of food items for the morning breakfast. Very near the train station, within walking distance of great restaurants and very near the Sight-Seeing Tour buses. The Hotel is across the street from the ancient ruins of theTemple of Minerva, and very...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
