in my opinion the most important thing in a hotel is the location and the location of this hotel couldn't be better. it's is 1 minute walk form the spanish steps and very close to the main street but it's still found on a very small and pastorlic street. there is a great bakery/ coffee place next to it and... I have stayed at some bad hotels but this place takes the cake. It has a great location near the Spanish steps but that is only nice thing that I can say about the place. The reception is on floor 2, or is it floor 3? They have a lift which caters for 1 person and a small suitcase or... More

This Hotel is centrally located in the heart of Rome. The area is spectacular and close to everything...I especially enjoyed the "Hussel and Bussel" of the location. Lively area with music and food close by. They even offer a voucher for breakfast next door. Here you may walk to everything such as Colloseum, Vatican, Spanish Steps, Opera and great shopping.... We stayed for 4 nights in July. My initial impressions of the hotel were: great location, basic room, friendly staff. It is located a 25 minute walk from the Colloseum and Vatican, 10 minutes from the Trevi fountain and 5 mins from the Spanish Steps. On the doorstep are restaurants, bars, high street and designer shops. There is no breakfast... More

My husband. 25 year old son and I took a triple from for six days at the Hotel Panda. Basic accommodation with private bathroom, made up for by the great location! Moments from the Spanish steps and a bunch of great eateries and shops. A 30 minute walk to most other key attractions.

Booked based on location, which was very central. Arrived and were placed in a room overlooking the street with broken AC. Room was simple but adequately furnished. Windows had to be kept open due to the temps and street noise was very loud making it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was not included. Even though the hotel offered us a different... More

The hotel's location is perfect, near Piazza di Spagna metro, restaurants, markets and many stores. The room is not large, but is very good, as bathroom is too. It's easy to go to all atractions from it. The price is cheap. Stay here!

Hotel Panda is in a good central location near the Spanish steps. Most of the major attractions are within 2 miles so walking is easy. The hotel is in an area with many restaurants and shops. The front desk is staffed 24 hours and they are very helpful. They accept credit cards with a 10% discount for cash. Our double... More

This hotel is unbelievably central (one street away from the Spanish steps!), clean and quiet. It's amazing value for money considering its location. I chose the 'shared bathroom' option but to be honest I never saw anybody else there! It was as if it were my own private bathroom. There is one flight of stairs before you reach reception, so...
