Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Sara's B&B. As college students, this wasn't in the most ideal locations for going out, but our room was clean, the single bathroom (which is shared among all the rooms) was cleaned daily, and Sara kept the fridge stocked with yogurt, milk, juices, fresh fruit, etc. There's a light rail stop right...

We stayed at Sara's Room for Easter 2014 for my partner's 50th birthday. Great central location, everything is so easy to get to, and the area of Trastevere is lovely for an evening stroll, meal and drinks. We did all the touristy things whilst there, so didn't spend alot of time in the apartment. We were lucky to have the...

The hostess Sara is really service minded and have a true interest in people and their well being. Wonder anything about Rome? Just ask Sara! A truly wonderful person. The kitchen is small but has all the necessary things for a daily life. Even a gas stove! The rooms are average but hey, you aren't spending much time there but...

We visited Rome on Oct 8 and stayed at Sara's Rooms. We took the local Train from Fiumincino to Trastevere. Sara's is only a short walk from there. Sara offers B&B which is of an excellent standard. There is a tram stop just outside that takes you close to the Coloseum. You can buy a travel card that is valid...

We arrived Oct 6 & Sara's place is very conveniently located & connected. It's just a 10 minute walk from the train station that takes you to Fiumicino Airport & there's a tram stop at the doorstep; connecting you to the historic sights of Rome in approximately 15 minutes. The neighborhood of Trastevere itself has much to see & taste,...

Me and a friend stayed here while trying to find long term accomadation for living in Rome. The rooms were lovely-comfortable,immaculate and modern. The location is also superb ,situated in Trastevere which is the best place in Rome for soaking up the Italian atmosphere while enjoying some of its local cuisine or a few drinks.Sara the owner is extremely helpful and...

I wish I could say our stay was as positive as the others here, but I'd be lying. I think Sara was away on holiday during our visit, so maybe you'll have a better experience?? A couple of things that made our stay sort of unfortunate: Our email instructions advised us to get off our bus after 9 stops from...

We stayed at Sara's rooms twice, one night on our way into Italy and one night on our way out. The walk from Trastevere station (which is on the airport train line) was quick and easy, even with luggage. Sara herself and her two colleagues (I'm sorry I can't remember their names!) were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were...

It's just a perfect lovely place. But I keep that a secret. Sara is a true hostess, the place is the former house of the parents of her husband. It's close to the train to the airport, close to an easy tram to the centre, but also close to a superior sunday morning market. The rooms are all right (we...

“Find someone who wants to show you around. Getting to know locals is very important in understanding the local culture. Having a host who cares and is responsive in my opinion is more important than what the room looks like. Make sure the place is in a good location, which means close to public transportation spots. Don't be too stingy about air conditioning or perks, some countries just are not in the habit of having those. People from North America forget the standard of living is way higher here.”
