Detailed Reviews
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in July . It was an excellent experience, the hotel is right in the middle of everything. We walked 150m to the Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps are about half a mile, and the colosseum about a mile so an excellent location. The staff we very responsive, we had a double with a nice large balcony, this was nice to have a drink and watch the bustle below. There is a nice roof terrace with loungers for a drink from the reasonable stocked bar , the prices are ok considering where you are, breakfast was ok , croissants, fruit, cereal, decent coffee, sausage, bacon and egg, for the size of hotel a good selection. The rooms are small but it’s a quirky boutique hotel so was expected, spotless clean room and bathroom, one day the coffee and milk was not replenished, but a quick phone call and it was done in 5 minutes. The room aircon was very good and the doors to balcony were modern double glazed so quiet , we were on the 4th floor, the lift I’d tiny only big enough for 2 people maximum, but a lift in this hotels size and position was an added bonus anyway. It was quite expensive but we felt worth it, we really enjoyed Rome!

Had a wonderful stay at the relais trevi, 4 nights in a triple room on the second floor.
The hotel is very nice, staff is welcoming and friendly, and of course prime location.
Cleanliness: the hotel and the rooms are super clean, housekeeping staff are friendly and efficient, we asked for something one night and they brought it in a minute. However the soap/shampoo was over quickly and wasn't restocked for the rest of the stay.
Room: the room is small but typical size for city center hotels, and was enough for 3 people. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the sheets are clean and soft. The room had a separate AC, so we could control it ourselves although we didn't have to since the temperature was fine at all times. The closet is open (no doors) and doesn't have many shelves and hangers. The noise from the outside is constant, and could be heard even with the double window shut, but we were so tired from traveling every day so we fell asleep easily.
Bathroom: I liked the shower, it has a powerful stream and was completely sealed so no water leaked from it. Toilet is OK although couldn't flush toilet paper on the first flush, ever. The bathroom definitely lacks storage space, we found it hard making room for hair brush, deodorant and such. Amenities are basic - soap/shampoo, and conditioner.
Dining room: the breakfast was terrific, it serves the same food every day but it was delicious. 2 kinds of juices, fresh pastries, eggs, bread, yogurt, cereals and more. Every morning when we entered the dining room we were greeted by the staff who instantly took our coffee/tea order, and brought it to us shortly after. Thumbs up for the dining room!
The location is great, adjacent to every important site in a short walking distance, but keep in mind that it comes with noise.
Overall, we had a great stay and I recommend this hotel as a place for an enjoyable site-seeing trip.

Staying for a week a the Relais Trevi 95 with family was such a pleasure.
During this week I had a very tight schedule as I had pre-booked most sightseeing, restaurants and even opera tickets. Therefore the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect.
The entrance and reception is probably the smallest I have entered but very bright and nice and even the elevator is the smallest – but I knew that beforehand so I didn´t mind
Two weeks prior to our arrival I had an email from Luna/Lucia at the reception offering to book transfer which I thought was very personal and nice.
The room for4 people was very clean and spacious – and the bathroom beautiful with a rain shower and white thick towels.
The air conditioning worked very well and was extremely quiet. The windows had shutters on the inside - which I have not seen before - and they worked both as dimming and soundproofing so we slept very well
There were also small things that were a pleasant surprise f.e. there were unusually many sockets – so everybody could charge their phones and laptops at the same time, the lamps on the wall had an extra spotlight for reading without bothering others – the bathroom had a nice shelf and a two tier glass table so there was a space to put the cosmetic bags –
The breakfast was nice and the outdoor seating wonderful in the summer mornings and on 5th floor there was a terrace solarium
I will definitely stay at this hotel again if/when I return to Rome

This hotel offers the best location that you can get in Rome. It is a stone's throw from the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps, but also you can walk to the major attractions.
We were offered to get into a double room as we are a family. The rooms are OK, but maintenance needs to be kept. We had a room with a damaged door and wall caused by the water coming from the air conditioning unit. We were surprised that they would let people use this room because of the damage, we did say anything nothing because we were tired and hot and just accepted it.
The front desk service was excellent; they always attended and answered our questions. The room was clean, but it was an average clean. I will not say it was spotless. This hotel's internal walls are paper thin, so you could hear next door's conversations, which did not help when they came back late in the night and talked. However, this hotel is located on a busy street, and we did not hear any street noise.
The breakfast was average because there was a limited amount of food to choose. The main concern is that the breakfast is served on the top terrace, which, on very hot mornings, there was no air con. They have one single fan spinning, which is useless. Because of the hot weather, you could see food products like cheese just melting, and the concern here was that the staff did not change it. We just ate cereal as it was a safe option due to the heat. Overall with this hotel, we could have a good night's sleep and the benefit was just the location as it was close to major attractions, restaurants and some supermarkets.

This was our third stay at the hotel, and as always, the front desk service was absolutely fantastic and the location was perfect. This time, though, the room could have been cleaner. The floor needed a good mopping and the surfaces needed cleaning (not just dusting). Also, the service at breakfast was not very courteous. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7:00 am. We arrived to locked doors and waited patiently. At 7:07, we finally knocked, as we had a 7:30 am airport transfer booked. The staff member opened the doors, looking annoyed - no "Buongiorno" or any greeting at all was offered. She turned her back on us immediately, so we just chose a table and sat down. She never came over, so my husband went up to her to order his coffee. It was odd. I also wish the hotel would supply conditioner in the shower. I still rated this hotel "very good" because it is overall a good hotel and presents a good value for central Rome. I would return, but if I have another bad experience at breakfast and the room is not more sparkling clean, I will look for another Rome hotel.

Great location and really friendly staff who could not have been more helpful.
We had the 2 balcony rooms which gives that little bit of extra space to relax which was ideal as the rooms are not huge, but given location, would not expect them to be.
We loved our trip here, breakfast was lovely and well worth getting and regularly topped up.
Only one complaint and not the hotels fault but the Taxi they booked us to the airport for our return tried to rip us off. There is a fixed fee for all Taxis in the zone at 50 euros, the driver put a meter on and it hit nearly 70 euros, he then advised fixed fee was 60 euros which was clearly a lie.
I was going to tip 5 euros so couldn’t be bothered to argue for 5 euros and just paid but one for the Hotel to note please (room 402/3)

As first time visitors to Rome this Hotel was in a great location, close to everything, especially the Trevi Fountain as the name would suggest. Our room was very nice and comfortable. The Room was well insulated for sound, particularly to the outside with the large crowds at the Fountain.
The Hotel staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly and went out for their way to make sure I was well taken care of when I had a small dental emergency. I cannot thank them enough.

Relais Trevi 95 Boutique Hotel
We stayed 5 days in Rome in December at this Boutique Hotel.
The location of the hotel is strategic. Two minutes from Trevi fountain, in the center, you can walk to the most interesting points of Rome without using public transport or taxis that due to traffic are very slow.
There is a nice covered terrace to have breakfast and in the evening take an excellent aperitif prepared by the talented Gian!
The hotel is well maintained and very clean.
The staff is welcoming and helpful, we were just looked after with care.
A hotel to recommend to friends.

Really great hotel. Arrived between 1&2pm, able to check in straight away. Room was on 2nd floor with access to lift for less able member of the family. Complimentary drink voucher given on arrival which was very lovely. Staff really friendly and helpful with any questions. So close to Trevi fountain and short distance to other places too. Walked to colosseum one evening which only took 19 minutes. Room was good, shutters on windows blocked out all noise. Could hardly hear anything outside, bearing in mind location of hotel. No faults at all, would highly recommend and return to this hotel.

We arrived in the afternoon and told that we had been upgraded, great we thought.
We went to the room which was much bigger than we had booked but the bathroom was a let-down; the single flush on the toilet was broken, the shower tray had a crack from one side to the other and the metal holder in the where you put your soap, shampoo, etc was all rusty and the shower door seal was broken and mouldy. We asked if there were any other rooms available and were shown a small room without a rainfall shower. According to the hotel website all rooms have rainfall shower. NOT TRUE!! So, we decided to stay in the bigger room. There were only bath towels in the bathroom, we went to reception we asked for hand towels and a mat to put on the floor outside the shower. Hours later after returning from sightseeing there were no handtowels but there was a WET mat outside the shower, this was not acceptable as we complained. In the room there is a minibar with everything 1Euro and an espresso coffee maker.
At breakfast the service was good and there was a good selection of food both hot and cold which due to Covid19 was now not buffet but ordered with the waiting staff. The seating area for breakfast was an open patio area on the rooftop. There was also a bar but this was not open.
The hotel is within a two minute walk of the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps are about 5 minutes.
We stayed in room 301. So don't stay in this room.

Not the one I stayed in. I have no idea if they have other rooms available. Sorry that I can’t be of more help.
Also, the location was excellent. We really enjoyed the hotel, just out the door towards the Trevi Fountain (which is a 2 min walk) is an AWESOME pizza place, Piccolo Buco, and down further on the left side at the end by the fountain was a great place for fresh hot waffles with gelato on top!
honestly, take a taxi from the airport. The private option costs a little more and you don't have to pre arrange anything...its a flat taxi fee and a 45 min ride or more depending on traffic
