My wife and I stayed here for five days. The room and bed was spacious clean and beautiful. The service was by far the best part of our stay. Our last day in Rome had a chance of showers and Miriam left us an umbrella in our room. (We don't ask she just left it) Thank you for making us...

We stayed here for four nights in Sept 2016. Looking for value for money accommodation we found this gem in Trastevere. This 4 bedroom guest house is in a quiet residential apartment block, but don't let this put you off. Our ensuite bedroom with balcony was superb. Quiet and extremely comfortable. (obviously we can't comment on the other rooms but...

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in March and was a Groupon deal. Miriam arranged to pick us up from the airport as we landed late evening and would have struggled to find it. The accommodation is a room in an apartment, within a block of 'art nouveau themed' apartments (lift available) within a residential area. The...

I gave it only three stars because the neighbours are noisy and the owner was untrue and wanted to move us for two nights to accommodate someone else using lies... However the rooms are cleaned daily and the location is good.

Good evening Paul, Sorry you had this feeling, but you saw we had works unexpected in the bathroom of the first room... it could happen unfortunately! And we had to set some pipes. The noise was on a Saturday night because of a birthday.... So sometimes it has to understand even other people 'behaviour'... You have been just ..unlucky! Hope...

Cozy room , impeccable cleanliness that was done every day . It's in a secure building , close to the means of transport ( bus and train ). The room is quiet . It's a little bit far from downtown, (but so far from Vatican!) but considering the prices in Rome , is very worthwhile! Miriam is very friendly, knows...

I really liked this place , the room was big with a small terrace where you could have breakfast. It was a bit hard to find but by just asking people on the street they showed us where it was. The room was very clean and quiet, the breakfast consists in a small basket of croissants , packaged toast and...

We had a great time in Rome! The apartment was perfect. It has a good location in a residential neighborhood (so if you are looking for a lot of bars and parties it might not be the best choice). The Pamphili park is nearby and train station Quattro Venti is 5 minutes from the apartment, so in about 15 minutes...

Public transport is very close and it takes no more than a few minutes to reach the city centre and all its meanings to world's history and culture..! I will definitely be returning and staying here again on...

Staying in Monteverde

Neighbourhood Profile
Monteverde
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighbourhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centrepiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the centre to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.
