The room was maybe the cutest room I've ever been to. It was quite small, but there were also a balcony in our room which was a really nice addition. The service was good and the breakfast was quite basic. The hotel location was really good and there were lots of places to eat around.

My wife and stayed at the Lilium Hotel because we know the area and the hotel were we usually stay nearby was fully booked. I'd highly recommend this neighborhood of Rome, known as Ludovisi. It's relatively near Termini Station (15 Min. walk / 5 Min. by taxi), and it's easy to get anywhere in the city from here. The area...

Well situated in easy walking distance to Reppublica Piazza and the metro and plenty of dining options. Charming hotel with friendly helpful staff. Room was tiny and power points minimum. All clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't get breakfast because we had early starts and breakfast didn't start until 7.45am. Would stay there again.

The hotel was quite easy to find after reading instructions from other reviewers. When you get there just buzz lilium hotel from the list on right hand side of door, walk up 2 lots stairs (about 20), get in lift to 3rd floor and lilium hotel door is right there in front of you. All the reception staff are very...

Hotel is really nice, very clean and tidy. It is perfectly located for a city trip, you have about 10 minutes to Tremini Station and 15-20 minutes to Trevi Fountain. The staff is really friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and nice linens. We had a corner room that faced the street on two sides but noise was not an issue at all. The location was very good with several nice restaurants in the immediate area. The complementary breakfast was excellent with a...

Just checked out of the Lilium Hotel and we only have good memories! We had room 38 with a little balcony which we loved for a glass of wine and some sun. The location is good bus 62 seemed to go centrally and from just outside. The staff were really lovely and the breakfast was quick and easy in the...

Lovely little hotel in Rome. Short walk from Termini station (less than 15 mins) which was great as we were traveling around Europe via train. Hotel staff was very friendly and pleasant to deal with. The rooms are cozy and really lovely - we stayed in the lavender room which overlooks the back alley so no view whatsoever, but we...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Liliumhotel has been reviewed by the National Geographic Traveler Magazine and has been inserted in the Eyewitness Travel Guide, which says of us: "On the third floor of a residential building midway between Termini and Via Veneto, Lilium is a charming little Hotel. Each of its small, beautifully decorated rooms is named after a flower and painted to match. The breakfast and sitting rooms are pretty with fresh flowers and colorful Australian songbirds. Excellent staff." ... more   less
