We had an amazing time at the Classic, the perfect spot for walking to anywhere in the city. For example, the Trevi fountain and Colleseum are within 15 minutes. I'd recommend upgrading to a Deluxe room- which is the most spacious room I've ever stayed at in Europe (I'd recommend asking for the Fire room on floor 2- it has...

We've been to Rome several times before and stayed in hotels in other areas, such as Trastevere and Termini, which were all great too. But The Classic Roma had everything we wanted. We had a big spacious, very clean, and comfortable room. Breakfast (not included in our package) was purchased for only 5 Euro and you get a simple but...

This hotel is in a great location! Very close to Trevi Fountain and easy to walk to all sites. Metro is not far away either. The hotel was very clean! Although the location is very near to everything, it is just far enough off the busy streets so that it is quiet at night for sleeping! Would highly recommend this...

Perfectly situated approx. 10-15min walk from Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon and Navarone Piazza. All the main attractions are asily walkable from this hotel, The coliseum is a lovely 20 min walk through the bustling city sights as is The Vatican. Easy walk to Beranini Metro station if you do not feel like walking. The room was nice and comfortable, the...

First of all, this hotel does not look like a hotel as it's on two levels in a block of flats . However there is a lift and the location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and for €5, breakfast was a very good deal...

Great Hotel. Room was very large, breakfast was great. Hotel is within an easy 10 min walk from both the Spanish Steps & Trevi Fountain. Great Jazz Club (Gregory's) right around the corner. Tons of great food nearby. Also 5 mins from the Subway. Could not recommend more. Room was spotless.

This hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Rome. It is right down the street from Barberini Metro Station and so close to walk to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The location is the best part about the hotel. The people were very nice and pleasant too. The not so nice things about the hotel follow. The room was...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Brilliant location. Ideally placed for many tourist attractions. Room was large and well provisioned. Excellent staff that were more than helpful to point out some city do's and don'ts. The breakfast was a little brief and underwhelming but the quality of the room, location and staff knowledgeably more than made up for it. If you're...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
