La Casa di Kaia is my home away from home. It is charming, cozy and owned and operated by a friendly, warm and energenic woman named Sylvie. She loves to share her love and knowledge of Rome with her guests. When you arrive she lets...More

La Casa di Kaia is going to be my "spot" in Rome. It's basically a 3-br, 1-ba apartment on the fourth floor of a building ideally located within the Trastevere neighborhood. Sylvie was so sweet, responsive, and hospitable throughout the booking process and my stay....More

I only stayed one night at this apartment but it was perfectly situated. Sylvia was extremely helpful and the apartment had everything you needed to make you stay pleasant. A great base to see all the sights....but away from all the tourist crowds!!

It was perfect and had everything I needed and wanted in a space. The location is very central. Close to sites, restaurants, shops, transportation. The neighbourhood is safe and beautiful. Loved it. I would not hesitate to stay there again and highly recommend it. Z

Sylvie runs this place incredibly well. It was in a beautiful neighbourhood (Trastevere) with excellent restaurants just around the corner. She has many excellent recommendations and my room was beautiful. I was even given a random free upgrade to a double room! Her instructions on...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
    streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
