The BnB is located in a fantastic spot within the Trastevere area, which is worth visiting on foot also. The historical center is walking distance (for being Rome, it's actually pretty short distance to everything), and there is a vast variety of good restaurants around. They offered to pick us up from the airport, and from the very beginning they...

We've spend 5 nights at Bed & Breakfast Zoe and simply enjoyed every single day here. Everything offered is as described. 1. The room was spacious and bathroom was pristine clean and very new. Bed was excellent and there is a great balcony for you to enjoy breakfast and rest after hard day of sightseeing. 2. The location is right...

Davide was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location couldn't be any better as it lies in the heart of Trastevere (definitely our favorite area of the city). The rooms were very spacious and clean. Very good value for your money. Would go back again without a doubt! Thank you

Great location- we were able to walk to pretty much all of the main tourist hotspots of the city. The room was clean and cosy and we were provided with a great continental breakfast each morning. The hosts- Desiree and David- were so, so friendly. They made every effort to make us feel welcome and they gave us great recommendations...

Everything was perfect: the host, Davide was so kind to pick us up at Fiumicino airport which made our transfer to b&b much comofortable. Location is...

I've been there with my wife and my parents. Each pair of us had a lovely designed room (each room has a different theme color), both of them had a balkony with nice view, there was no street noise, because there was the house in between. Also the breakfast was good and enough. And the best of all: The staff...

Loved the area of Trastevere. It was full of great restaurant, small boutiques and life. The Bed & Breakfast Zoe was near it all. In Trastevere, you can also see some sights and go for an picnic in the park nearby. If you wanted to go sightseeing or do some big shopping downtown there was a tram stop right across...

Our triple room looked out over an interior courtyard, very quiet, even though Trastevere is a very active neighborhood. Davide, Desiree, and Jen were all friendly and helpful; for example, helping me print out tickets I had bought online using their computer. The coffee maker was in for repairs during our visit, so coffee came from their sister B&B, Zen...

B&B Zoe is located in the most perfect place in Rome - all the sites are in either easy walking distance or there are buses running outside the door. The B&B is delightful, extremely clean, and hosted by the very helpful and accommodating Desirèe and Davide. Trastevere is a great place to come back to after a day's sightseeing -...

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
