A room that Hemingway would've been proud to rent in his ex-patriot days, Maison de Didi is a wonderful place to stay. The building is conveniently located about ten minute's walk from the Coliseum and overlooks two very classical Italian streets so that no matter what room you rent, you will have a great view. The rooms are very spacious,...

You leave the place and you see the Colosseum just behind the park nearby. Amazing! Could you ask for more? It was very peaceful neighborhood however not great for going out or eating out apart from some restaurant recommended by Didi. By the way our host was very friendly and helpful.

I would definitely recommend staying here. The owner made me feel so welcome when I arrived, and she gave me a map on which she highlighted the best places to visit, eat, shop etc. Very close to the Colloseum and the metro which is great. For breakfast you have to go to the cafe along the road. It is a...

Maison de Didi is in a very good location. It is a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum and Palatine. Didi was super helpful with information on how to get places, places to eat and she was really friendly. The room and shared bathroom were both very comfortable and clean. The only downside is that there was no air conditioning...

Never stayed at this Hostel as they cancelled my reservation, refused to refund my CC, and were very rude in their email communication (wish I could post email trail). Their reason for cancelling my reservation: I "managed to get a low rate for the season" through Hostelworld.com. Only option offered to get my money back was to "stop by hostel...

This lady has been a pain to deal with, from day one. And she's not even be honest about it, in her eagerness to whine and moan to any audience available. First of all; her booking has been cancelled because it was an overbooking and being the last in line, for honesty I have to assigned the room to the...

Didi is a delight, very helpful lady that runs a lovely guest house. Our room was great. Nicely decorated & had an en suite.interesting building. Easy to access via metro & close to the tourist attractions. Noisey road near by, but ear plugs solved that problem. Air con or a fan would have been nice.

We stayed in Maison de Didi for 2 nights. The location is excellent- 2 min walking from Colloseum and very close to the subway (termini & maizon). Room was spacious, clean and tidy and Didi was very helpful and accommodative. You can leave your luggage prior to check-in and after check-out, so it is a great advantage (we saw people...

Our first trip to Rome was made complete with our stay at La Maison de Didi bed and breakfast! Very reasonably priced for a lovely large double room with private (although very small) en suite.
