Hotel's Favourite
Wonderful staff and great service. The room was a good size, large bathroom, and plenty of closet space. The location could not be better. Plenty of stores and restaurants very nearby. Short walk to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. All other major landmarks are within about a mile and the Vatican is only about 2 miles.

Wonderful staff: thanks to both managers, Georg, Antonio and the girl. They were very welcoming, efficient and helpful. I loved the atmosphere of the convent and its rooms. The architects and contractors did a great job as the room and the bathroom as well as the rest of the hotel was well designed. Thanks to the cleaning lady for a good job. The location could not be better. Hope to return one day. Greetings to the entire team from Anna K.

Remember that scene in the fantastic movie 'Moonstruck', where Johnny has gone back to Palermo to visit his dying mother, and they show her in her bed, a cross on the wall behind her, and she is waving off his crying while nuns tend around her bed? Well, that's a bit how it looked and felt when we arrived to our room and I was finally able to put my terribly sick wife in bed after our long travel from Naples to Rome. A lovely little cross (that I'm pretty sure they bought in one of the many papal chotchke shops around town) hung on the wall, a lovely large bed with sturdy looking frame and nightstands, large closets, nice bathroom with clean toilet and a hot shower...and that's pretty much it. I don't think there was a TV in the room and there was definitely no coffee or tea setup. The window opened out over a beautiful quiet courtyard that wasn't visible from the street. There is a restaurant in front of the hotel, but we didn't have the opportunity to try it. There's a nice new elevator, but the floor that had the main office was a little hard to find after travel exhaustion. If you're looking for a no frills, super basic, but very comfy and clean stay, and don't mind knowing that your neighbors downstairs are a ton of monk skeletons, I highly recommended staying here for a few days. There is a train station directly in front of the hotel, but it was closed for construction while we were there, so keep that in mind. My limited interaction with the staff was positive, they were friendly and helpful.
