Since the B&B was booked, I was placed in a nearby apartment. The apartment was full furnished with sofa bed, kitchen facilities, private bath and well-stocked breakfast items, including cereal, fruit and pastries. Rosa was an attentive host, helping with transport from airport and activities. She supplied a cell phone to reach her directly, by text or call. The apartment...

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience with others on TripAdvisor. I am so delighted you appreciated our services and location near St. Peter's. I am sorry about the noise issues you experienced. Although we are in a central area of our town, the windows of our apartment have double glazing to limit the noise coming from outside. As...

On our first trip to Rome last year, my wife and I were a little uneasy about staying at a small B&B in a large city like Rome. So, we played it safe and chose a hotel near Piazza Barberini. The hotel was nice, but, nothing special. For this year's trip to Rome, we decided to try Al Colonnato and...

This apartment is located a couple of blocks south of the Vatican, on a quiet street. There are several good restaurants very nearby, and it is close to the heart of Trastevere with its shops and night life. The apartment was large and very comfortable, and very well equipped and furnished with lots of fresh fruit, bread, milk, juices, butter...

Well, where do I start. My wife and I have stayed here at least 10 times over the past 8 years. Rosa has made us feel like family , even from our very first stay. We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary in Rome, and this was the only place we would ever stay. We always look forward to staying with...

Everything wonderful said by previous reviews about Rosa Maria is absolutely true- the location is outstanding and Rosa Maria is a fantastic host! We had heard some negative feedback from friends about their experiences in Rome in particular with places to eat. Rosa Maria gave us some recommendations which were excellent. She really made our trip. We stayed in the...

We have stayed at some amazing places during our travels. That said, Al Colonnato di San Pietro Bed and Breakfast is simply the best. Rosa is an amazing hostess. There is an abundance of good breakfast and snack foods provisioned. The rooms are in a very safe and friendly building close to her B&B, which is near the enterance to the...

We stayed for a second time in this great location just 200m from St. Peter's Square.
