My husband and I chose Il Palazzetto as we had a Mr & Mrs Smith voucher to use and only needed a hotel room in Rome for one night, before driving down to the Amalfi Coast. I had high expectations since the hotel was listed on Mr & Mrs Smith and was just under £300. When we arrived, at around...

We have just spent 5 fabulous nights at Il Palazzetto overlooking the Spanish Steps and the skyline of Rome. We could not have been looked after better at this beautiful old annex to the majestic Hassler Hotel. Large airy suite, attentive housekeeping, a wine bar with snacks that is perfect at sunset. We chose to take a delightful breakfast at...

We did not stay at Il Palazzetto,we just came for drinks only on their outdoor terrace which is located on top of stairs of Spanish Steps. We enjoyed our drinks and the view. In looking at the menu, it stated all the pizzas' are frozen.

We had a wonderful experience for honeymoon at this hotel. It was clean with friendly staff and in a great location. The Spanish Steps were closed during our stay, so it felt like we had them all to ourselves, enjoying the view from our room and from the rooftop bar. The concierge was very helpful, making our dinner reservations every...

My partner and I had just got engaged by the Trevi fountain and we were looking for somewhere to enjoy a few celebratory drinks - Il Palazetto was perfect! Located at the top of the Spanish Steps, it's great for people watching and was just ideal in the sunshine! The service was great and there was a great choice of...

We stayed at Il Palazetto for four nights and everything was just perfect! The location was handy to everything, no steps to climb and via condotti basically on our doorstep. The beauty of this hotel is its location, ample sized rooms with enough space for suitcases, great aircon, stunning terrace overlooking the Spanish steps. It doesn't need anything else! If...

This is quite a quirky but great addition to the Hassler Hotel at the Spanish Steps. You couldn't ask for a more central location-our lovely peaceful room was a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle outside. There is a stunning roof top terrace bar- quite small and intimate but a stunning view of Rome rooftops . A delicious and...

Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. “The 4 rooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floors. I suggest that the 3rd floor rooms may have less noise from the bar. Room 2 on the 3rd floor may have the most number of windows to take in the view as well as providing an airy ambience to the room.”
