The Rome Life Hotel garners high marks for its exceptional service, with guests frequently lauding the helpful staff and attentive breakfast service. The modern and pristine atmosphere is a hit among guests, though there's a mention of overly dark decor. The cleanliness of the hotel, particularly the spotless rooms and thorough housekeeping, is often highlighted by travelers. While the hotel is deemed to offer good value, some guests point out extra charges. Its prime location is celebrated by guests for being close to attractions and historical sites, and the rooms are appreciated for their comfort and cleanliness, yet a few suggest better lighting would enhance their stay.

We booked and stayed at Rome life hotel as part of a city break. The hotel is very central in Rome and close to many of the main attractions that Rome has to offer. Easily accessed from Termini Station being a 10 minute walk. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and as we arrived early morning and before our room was ready we were able to leave our luggage after check in and come back later . We had a top floor room which was easily accessed as the elevator was directly opposite our room. An added bonus for me being a smoker was that we had access to an outdoor roof top lounge area directly outside our room. There was also an ice machine directly outside the room and this would be very useful if using the roof top area during summer months. The room itself was immaculately clean with a large king bed which was very comfortable. Fitted wardrobe which contained a safety deposit box . Vanity table. TV. Full length mirror. Bedside lockers with over head bed lighting and lamps. air conditioning and a fridge which was filled with complimentary soft drinks water a a small amount of snacks ... this was a lovely touch. Tea and coffee making facility with a variety of teas and coffee
The bathroom contained a bath with over head shower WC and bidet . Sink and large vanity area and a clean towel change every morning. The buffet breakfast served downstairs was also very good with a large selection of produce Juices, cereals, breads, meats and typical continental breakfast supplies. The waiter and waitress were very welcoming and each morning the waiter made us a beautiful italian cappuccino. Another added bonus which proved to be very handy was that the hotel supplied us with a Samsung phone as standard, that you can take with you around rome and use for maps etc which also included free international calls . All in all we found the hotel to be excellent in every way and would definitely stay here again if and when we go back to Rome. There are lots of many lovely restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Many thanks Rome life hotel

Day starts with a very good breakfast with enough variety of food, drinks and fresh fruits. I especially love cappuccino they prepare for you when you sit down. Service was excellent particularly at the breakfast and at the reception. Giacomo even added expressos on our last day before our trip back to airport. Everyone at reception were friendly, helpful and pleasant to deal with especially Ricardo and Alberto. The reception staff automatically offered us umbrellas when it was raining hard on our first day in Rome. They also provide useful tips during our stay and efficiently got us taxis for our travel to Vatican City (about €12 for the 15-min ride) and back to the airport (about €60 for the 30-min ride). Hotel location is excellent with 2 Italian restaurants just in front (3 more within 3 minute walk). Best of all, it’s only about 10-20 minute walk to most of the major historical sites including Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Coliseum, Roman Forum, Palatine and Pantheon.
The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars hotel is because hotel needs to improve on certain room upkeeps. Though our room is very clean, a wall needs to be repainted and certain light switches need to be fixed since they don’t work anymore. I also recommend having USB ports to directly charge iPhones and iPads. Overall, we had a great stay so would come back here again.

fantastic little boutique hotel located in a really convenient part of town.
The rooms themselves were nicely decorated with a good entertainment system. There are some reviews on here saying that the room was small, which I didn't find to be true. There was sufficient space to store the baggage and move around the room.
The corridors and breakfast room have a quaint lay-out to them and reminded me of the Woody Allen film Sleeper which adds to the hotels character !!!
The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food. I am a vegetarian and there was more than enough for me.
The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and our first day, helped us with our bearings and directions around the city.

In terms of location, the hotel is about 10 minutes walk away from the Trevi Fountain which is the liveliest part of Rome in the evenings. The Colleseum and the Palantine Hill area is about 15 minutes walk away in the other direction. The street the hotel is on is really pretty, with a few cafes / restaurants to eat at. There is a metro station at the end of the street , but because the hotel was so centrally located, we didn't need to use it.

The hotel is in a good location- near the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and other sights for first time visitors. The breakfast is excellent- nice choice of whole and cut up fruit, cheeses, bread, scrambled eggs, bacon, pastries etc. The beds were comfortable and the rainfall shower head was large with great hot water ( consistent hot water is not necessarily found all the time).
On the other hand, the rooms were quite small, the sink and shower were around the corner and in a separate enclosure from the toilet/bidet (the latter coming with all the accessories but rarely used by North Americans as far as I know). There was no facial tissue although they provided without asking the less useful (for us)two toothbrushes, toothpaste, disposable razor and shaving cream. Ditch those items and just give us Kleenex!! Items in the mini bar were included in the price but consisted of 2 bottles of water that were not replenished.

My partner and I stayed at the hotel and truly didn’t know what to expect but everything about the hotel was fantastic. The location was within 5-10 minutes walking distance of most of the main locations (trevi fountain, forum, colosseum). The staff were all really friendly at the hotel and made sure to make everything about our stay as easy as possible. The breakfast each morning was delicious, made even better by Giacomo’s brilliant cappuccinos; the best way to start off a busy day. The rooms were extremely clean and blocked out all outside noise meaning after a busy day you got an amazing sleep. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone heading to Rome and i without a doubt would stay here again.

The front desk staff displayed exceptional politeness, provided outstanding services, including the luggage bell service, and moved our luggage into our room when the room was ready. They were always available for information consulting with utmost attentiveness. Thanks to Alberto and the team!

The breakfast package was delightful, with hot and bakery offerings and a variety of delicious options to choose from. The custom-made cappuccino was a great memory in the morning. Thanks to Giacomo and the team!

The room cleaning was generally satisfactory; however, I recommend that the housekeeping staff ensure the glass cups are replenished in the future and that there is an adequate supply of toilet paper and shower gel stocked in the bathroom.

We liked it so much we came back to stay again at the end of our backpacking trip around Italy! The service from the front of house staff, the breakfast staff and the cleaners was amazing, they were all very attentive and helpful. The room was spotless and basic enough for what we wanted. Room: We knew we weren't going to be in the room for much so it was served its purpose as a good place to sleep in a quiet clean environment. The only improvement that could be made to the room, is to include a door to separate the bathroom from the bedroom (the door is only separating the toilet/shower area from the wash basin). The beds and pillows were comfy. There was a mini fridge which was stocked with water upon arrival. Breakfast: The staff at breakfast were always very helpful and attentive, adapting to the new situation of table service instead of buffet service. There is a wide variety of items available for meat eaters and vegetarians. Vegans may struggle although I'm sure if you ask the staff they would be able to make something up. Location: good walking distance to all the famous landmarks and attractions. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting Rome!

I was very excited to visit Rome Life Hotel for my honeymoon. Hotel was booked through Agoda booking in February 2020 for a April 2020 trip, yes it was booked "non-refundable". The pandemic hit, our flights were cancelled by the airline, we had no way to get to Italy from Chicago, USA. After emailing Agoda, they reached out to Rome Life on our behalf. They even received an email that Rome Life hotel was not operating as normal, and communications were delayed due to the pandemic. The response received from Rome Life was refusal to give a refund. I understand the original booking was "non-refundable", however, with the circumstances I am appalled that there was not an understanding of a global pandemic. Very disappointing customer service during these difficult times.

Spent 5 nights here recently.

Our room was large, with plenty of storage space and a very comfy bed. Nicely decorated too. A kettle with tea & coffee was provided, along with a room safe. The mini bar was stocked with some free soft drinks and snacks, and we got a bowl of fruit too which was a lovely touch.

Breakfast was served for a decent length of time (7am to 10.30am) and had a great selection - breads, cakes, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, bacon, scrambled eggs, cold meats, cheeses, frittata, juices). There's a machine for hot drinks but we always got offered freshly made espresso, latte or cappuccino. There's also a menu where you can order different dishes (but you have to pay extra).

The hotel is in an excellent location in the Monti area - about 15 minutes walk to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and about 20/25 walk to Piazza Navona area. In the evening there are plenty of restaurants and some bars nearby which were great - it didn't feel quite as busy/touristy as other areas which we really liked.

Overall a great stay.

You could also try a private car from Rome Chauffeur. They'll have someone to meet you right out of baggage claim with your name. We used them twice on our recent trip, & experienced excellent, professional service both times.
