We overpaid what we get. I think it is the poorest hotel I've ever been. Thought it is clean. Service is not so bad. The receptionists were good to us. Except of the city tax you pay 3€ per person per night, we paid extra 2€ per beg to storage them for us after we checked-out until we go to...

Central location and moved us without question to a better room the next day after partner had allergies to mould. You get what you pay for. Ok if youre on a tight budget. A paint job wouldn't go astray and some mould killer. What can i say, Came in from Florence, late at night so very tired. Room was mouldy...

The hotel was near to the central station, It was very clean and the breakfast was very good. Warm water all day and central heating. We recommended for those who want an economic and comfort stay....

You get what you pay for with this hotel. There was no specialities or anything that stood out. The bathroom was small and a bit grotty (could have done with a better clean). Breakfast was a good selection if you got there early, tend to be topped up a bit but not really regular

Booked through Booking.com as it was central and very close to Termini Station, and at £95 for 3 nights it just had to be booked. The rooms are basic but clean, we were on the 5th floor but the lift works so all is good. he bed was amazingly comfortable and we slept like logs. Breakfast was continental but the...

Worst hotel I've stayed in my entire life. Rude staff, dirty, no heating even when it's freezing, crappy beds. A guy started breaking bottles and had to be removed by the police. Hotel knew and didn't warned the guests. We had to run away in the morning. Only good thing in here is the location. My advice: Pay a little...

Nice place, nice location, good service, very cosy and typical with a nice garden. Not the standard international hotel but well organized and worth a recommendation. Good restaurant as well. A good service attitude.

I have been to this property with a friend of mine during a 3-4 days trip to Rome. Apart from the location, the hotel is not that or recommended. I would not suggest it if you are going with wife or kids. No stairs, only elevators. Breakfast was modest, nothing special.

Probably the worst hotel in Rome. Triple room for 120 pounds for 2 nights. Found a lot better one for less but it was too late. The whole place was a bit dirty and in need of a refurbishment. Our section of hotel did not smell great either - like a back of restaurant with strong smell of fried food...

I stayed here for 5 nights, and I can say that: The Good: The price was right, the location of this hotel is great, two blocks from the train station and from the metro. Also walking distance from the Coliseum. It's near to lots if restaurants and bars. The bed was comfortable, TV was in working fine and the from...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
