What a treat! It was our first trip to Rome and we decided on a hotel that would keep us fairly close to the city to keep costs down a bit. We made our way to the hotel via the metro station Flaminio - google maps is your friend for this walk. It took about 20 mins, but we are...

Beautiful old villa in quiet area. Very nice and kind personal. Special Hi for Luigi! Comfortable and clean room, good bad, big bathroom, tasty breakfast, especially cappuccino. Near the hotel a taxi stop and tram. It was wonderful to walk in the evenings all a round hotel. Thank you!

Hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood with access to public transport. Staff very helpful. Room quite clean and the bed is comfortable. Simple breakfast but quite nice. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants a reasonably priced but good hotel.

Our room was very nice on main floor level. Comfortable bed and nice ensuite bathroom. AC was not working, so first night was rather warm. We opened window but there was a problem with mosquitos coming in. Luigi said AC was broken so he brought in a mosquito repellant which helped but made room smokey. Other nights were a little...

Have to admit the old villa is quite charming, as the neighborhood. But i was disappointed by the reception, the room (average in size, quite noisy being on the entrance floor) and, in general, by the poor value for money. Asked to book a taxi for a very early morning departure, just to find out (at 6 AM) I had...

I stayed at Villa Mangili while in Rome to attend a conference at University di Roma at Sopienza. I found the hotel rooms very clean and tidy. The general environment was calm and peaceful. The Breakfast was fantastic. I was particularly impressed with fact that the location placed in a position to have access to many areas of interest in...

Quiet hotel. Far too expensive for amenities offered. Good internet. Poor public transport links. In a residential area with no no or very few restaurant a or ashops around. ...Very hot rooms with ineffective a/c. Dark rooms. Cleanliness

We stayed 3 days and enjoyed any minute there. Greatly located near Villa Borghese, quiet and beautiful neighborhood, the staff is very kind and helpful: a place to get back and to recommend to anyone, even with children.

Very quiet hotel with style and nice small garden around. Some rooms have direct access to the garden. Fantastic staff at the reception, every one, and specifically Luigi who helped for everything ! Breakfast in a familial ambiance near the reception. Residential neighborhood with public transport near about.

We stayed here one night. Super friendly staff and a super hotel. The hotel is nice, clean, and with a very cool interior style in an interesting part of Rome. Value for money. Finding a hotel with a garden in the middle of Rome is awesome.

Thank Henrik S

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.

You get in and... the sensation, unintentionally given to the traveler, is that he never left home. Among a thousand colors you'll find corners where sobriety, far to be austerity, simulates reflection moments to be spent either within your private room or in the garden with a cup of tea. Close to the auditorium, just behind villa borghese, from the strategic set of this hotel, of only 12 rooms, you can shortly reach downtown, even walking. Business & love melt into each other without crashing. you get out and... ... more   less
