Great option to stay in Rome. It's close to the Colosseum and Termini Station. Metro station is even closer. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful. Shops and gelato right next door. Recommend

I stayed there for 3 nights with my husband for a short visit to Rome, in March. We have chosen this hotel, primarily because it was very close to Termini Station and close to some interest points that we had planned to visit. The neighborhood in which it was located was a Chinese one, not very nice, what disappointed us...

Hotel at first outside glance was dissapointing, once inside though our minds changed. Finding reception was confusing since the first thing you see is an elevator and reception is on the floor above (and no, there wasn't a sign indicating location or floor of reception) . Our room was very clean, very accommodating, an building was quiet even though it...

The quality between the accomodation and the price was very good. It is located in a good area though it is full of Chinese and Pakistanese. The services were good, except the fact that it was written in the room that every morning you' ll have a bottle of water and a croissant for free. We received the bottle of...

Room was clean with good bed and free working Wi-Fi (make sure to try 2 different ID/password). No breakfast only free coffee. There is small refrigerator in room with free water and soda. The hotel is a couple blocks to the train station and supermarket. Our room was facing a small courtyard - no noise from the street. Staff was...

My husband and I were staying in Rome for one night, we booked a b&b which turned out to be a room in someone's apartment! So when we came across the Moscatello we were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable price and the clean, comfortable room. About 10-15 from Termani (train station) about 20 min walk to the coliseum.

The staff were incredibly helpful when I had a problem with my card when I was booking my stay and when I actually arrived they were equally helpful for me. The hotel is much nicer than these pictures may suggest, I had one of the largest and most comfortable beds I've ever had in a hotel and the air con...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights whilst we travelled round Europe. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from termini station and in the other direction about 20/25 minutes walk from the Colosseum and then central Rome. The room was very clean and tidy and we were left a croissant every morning. The man on reception was lovely,...

We stayed as family in June 2015 and I was very disappointed by this hotel. First we hardly find it, once when we reached 3rd floor where is 'reception desk' the lady who worked there was very unprofessional (first she told that the room is not ready, after a few minutes when cleaning lady told that the room is cleaned...

We stayed in this small hotel for four days. It was a good place to be. good beds, nice rooms and bath. It was very central ,and the best icebar of rome, "giovanni fassi" is just outside the door. They only have around 10 rooms i guess. really easy hotel to recommend!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
