Maybe sometimes a hotel has one too many rooms. I stayed at room 330 so maybe the other rooms in the hotel don't have as many problems. The main one being the noise. It is ironic that on such a quiet neighborhood, where you can hear the murmur of the fountains from half a block away you will not be...

Dear Client, Thank you for your e mail. We are glad you appreciated our staff and sorry to know, though, that we didn’t meet fully your expectations and for it we sincerely apologize. Best hotel i have stayed in in Europe!!! Booked this hotel back in november after researching reviews on trip advisor. We was not disappointed. We arrived on sunday at about 11pm no problems checking in. After heading straight to bed, next morning when we opened the curtains we noticed we had a balcony. Booked through opodo for a good price. Looked at the photos before i booked because i didn't want to be disappointed on arrival. We arrived very late at night and only discovered we had a balcony in the morning. I went to reception in the morning to introduce ourselves and mentioned about the balcony because i didn't want to be...

Our family of four, including two children ages 15 and 10, stayed here for a week in mid-June 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel Aventino provides a quiet refuge amidst greenery, to which we looked forward to returning after days out in the bustle of Rome. We stayed in Room 348, which has a large terrace overlooking the trees...

Our last visit to the Aventino was for the Italy v Ireland rugby international in 2009 and we were so delighted to discover on our return for this year's match that the relaxed charm of the hotel in its lovely gardens was unchanged. The hotel is located on the Aventine Hill, a beautiful and quiet location. It is round the corner from the famous "giardino degli aranci", and very close to the Circo Massimo area and Trastevere. Breakfast is really nice, but above all what makes this hotel special is its staff - so friendly and helpful.

Staying in Aventine

Neighbourhood Profile
Aventine
Contrary to the chaos of the city, the Aventine is Rome’s oasis. A neighbourhood made up of a patchwork of ancient churches, hidden gardens, private homes and embassies, peace and quiet is top priority and the vibe definitely friends and family. Take a walk around the Aventine and you’ll find a treasure hunt of surprises like the clever little keyhole at the Knights of Malta entrance (the only place you’ll find a line) along with Parco Savello (Giardino degli Aranci) next to the ancient Santa Sabina church. Keep your eyes on the 1960s architecture, several modern buildings are built atop Rome’s original 4th century BC wall.
