The room was OK it was clean and even though we asked for a room on an upper floor we had the room in reception. However the staff were unhelpful. the only plus was the breakfast which was OK and plentiful. Wouldn't stay there again :-(

Poor signal at a charge. Ended up buying wifi from the hotel next door. Much better signal. Uncomfortable bed, poor shower, dirty walls in bedroom. No doors on shower, broken. Hotel location smells of stale urine & rubbish scattered. Poor.

The hotel is very small and clean however there are a few things that bothered me: 1. Breakfast includes pastry, cereal and coffee, and there is no vegetables. 2. The shower is very small and was full of mold and mildew. 3. They didn't replace towels. 4. The hotel is far from the metro stations. Add some money and get...

Very good breakfast Friendly staff Close to Roma Termini Clean I think it is a very good place for couples you want to see Roma but you must be careful at night because the neighborhood its not too safe.. Breakfast with excellent croissants, smashed eggs, coffee, tee, bread, butter etc.. No WiFi free(5 euros for...

Firstly, the hotel(s) look a bit huge and have way too big rooms. The stairway, on the other hand, is like in a labyrinth, and you're exhausted once you find your rooms which can also be hard. I was carrying my suitcase with a friend and our rooms were 336 and 337, but they were not in the same building!...

We were grateful for the early check in as we had an early flight, got the bus from Ciampino airport to termini and were told by our travel company that it was a 10 minute walk from the termini, we actually walked for around 20 minutes. The area isn't very nice graffiti everywhere doesn't seem very safe and we were...

When we got to the hotel after a long trip we were welcomed by a man screaming something in Italian. Apparently he wanted us to close a door. He barely spoke a word English and we feared we were going to regret coming here. He was incredibly rude when he did talk English and demanded our IDs and wanted to...

Dirt on the floor(a lot of hair and dental floss!!). Room smells and looks like a basement. Charging for an internet access? We are not in XIX century. Close to Termini but this is the only one positive thing.

i am currently staying here with my mum and nan in a 3 bed room. The room is an okay size as well as an average sized bathroom. With the breakfast there is a choice of cereal, eggs, croissants, ham, cheese, French toast packets as well as juice and hot drinks. I couldn't hear too much of the traffic outside...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
