The Hotel Louisiana is a small intimately run hotel it was the perfect place for rest our weary bones while in Roma. Great location, convenient to transport and you could walk to all major sites. Adequate comfortable rooms and most important to us -- VERY CLEAN! Staff was always smiling and helpful. Only problem was almost no hot water in... More

I had no chance, I couldn't find any 3/4 stars hotel nearby, so I decided to try this 2 stars. I knew I had no chance to get rest. but I was wrong ! Nice rooms, cleaned and cozy. Kind people and h24 front desk service. Super cheap price, I though the hotel was wrong when I had to pay... More

This is a small little hotel. We stayed for 2 nights and we were only there to sleep. Way too much to do in rome. Location : It is close to the termini station and buses. Really convenient if you're planning to take public transportation but you can also walk to do sightseeing. It's far from the Vatican 1 hour... More

Alex is the friendliest person I ever met, helped us feel very comfortable, he was like a family friend, he has the biggest heart and it shows he loves his job giving great service. Letizia is very nice person and Nadia was the friendliest waitress in the morning for breakfast. I never got a chance to meet Giulia but I... More

Great location, good staff, good value for money, clean, rooms are good size, but not a lot of room in the shower. Thanks to Latizia, Nadia(bakes good cakes for the guests), Erminia, & Alessandro & the hotel team for making our stay pleasant and memorable :)

We stayed here for 2 nights in a triple room. The best part was the friendly staff, they were helpful and nice, the room has a/c but it doesn't work very well as it was usually warmer inside the room than outside in the hall. The bathroom cleaning can be improved. The location is very good, there's free wifi.

Nice hotel. Looks weird from the outside, as everything in Rome. And also at the beginning, it sounds strange that you find out that the hotel shares the building with other two hotels. But..... when you get to the floor appointed to Louisiana, all your bad impressions are gone since everything is very good. Friendly staff, nice rooms, great breakfast,... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
