Arena House is a fantastic hotel, the owners are very friendly and welcoming! On arrival they explained how the metro and bus lines worked and gave us a map pointing out some of the best places to go and things to see! The rooms were clean and tidy, and the shower was great, especially after a hot days walking about...

We stayed here recently for 4 days and 3 nights. It is a bit difficult to find!! We stopped for a drink and hubby called the B&B. The girl came out to meet us!! Directions - come out of the Collusium Metro Station, turn left and walk straight up to the top of the street. Cross the road and turn...

The Arena hotel is a great value for Rome. We stayed there for 2 nights in June 2007 and found the hotel to be conveniently located, clean, and accomodating. The owners were very friendly offering plenty of advice on where to eat and how to get there. We didn't really hear any noise from the street so the room was...

We enjoyed two nights at the Guest House Arena in Rome. The owners were very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Our room was large and clean with a window opening into a neighboring garden. The walls and carpet were a bit worn, but not anything to complain about. The windows seal incredibly well, so it is nice and quiet for...

We stayed here for 4 nights beginning of May. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and like everyone says, it is the owners that make the guest house such a pleasure to stay in. On arrival they said our room was not yet ready as we arrived quite early, but if we waited 10 mins they would prepare it. Unfortunately...

When looking for hotels for our honeymoon (3 days in Rome, followed by a 12 day cruise around the Mediterranean), we were looking for something inexpensive, but still nice, and in the city so we could see all that we wanted to see in Rome - the Arena House was absolutely perfect. I'll start out with our only possible complaint...

After reading fab reviews of Arena House here, we chose this guesthouse for our school trip to Rome - and it was such a stroke of luck! Situated right in the centre of historical Rome (between the Colosseum and San Clemente) it was handy for sightseeing AND affordable but still well away from the more unpleasant area around Termini. It's...

Checked this out on Tripadvisor before we went, and so glad we did. It was excellent accommodation in first class location. Small, but clean and just what you need to go back to after sightseeing. Vincent and Barbara were absolutely wonderful and could not have been more helpful and friendly. Convenient having the internet in the rooms. Would definately stay...

The rooms are as described before... very cozy with enough space for 2 adults and an eight year old. We went to Rome after a stay in Madrid & Brussels. Rome was by far the best part of the trip. Eventhough we arrived very late in the evening, Vincenzo took the time to review the sites, metro, bus stops, and...
