Two nights in Rome at this guest house. Location is unbeatable. Room of decent size, clean, nice old fashioned furniture. But no view (see pix).... it was like a prison cell. And very dark. I wouldn't come back.
We have just returned from 4 nights here and our first trip to Rome. The location is superb and yet peaceful. At times it was hard to believe, just out of the door and moments away, lay the whole of Rome. The room was clean...More
Great little hotel in the beautiful Trastevere neighborhood just steps from the Tiber and walking distance to Rome's great sites. Host Marco is friendly and helpful and speaks English quite well. Outstanding breakfast and comfortable room. Don't miss passeggiata at Piazza Santa Maria.
I stayed one night in this gem of a hotel. What a discovery! The hotel is filled with amazing antiques and wonderful wallpaper- this is Roman art direction at it's best! Loved it! My room had a balcony and extra large bed. The staff were...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.

I agree with the previous Answer: There is room to store a reasonable amount of luggage. It's a fairly large home and the room we stayed in held our luggage (but, we only had a total of 4 pieces because we were travelling by train). Also, if you have several pieces, I suspect there is room elsewhere to put them, and the owners were very accommodating to us, so I believe they would store the extra pieces.
