Our family of four loved the Hotel Golden. The accommodations were nice (we had a room with two small twin beds and a queen size bed), the breakfast was terrific, and the staff was super friendly. We would definitely return!

Guiseppe and his family are awesome people who made us feel at home right from the beginning. Always helpful. The breakfast was amazing and cooked by the mother. I would recommend this place to everyone I know. The rooms are always clean and it was such a delightful place to be at so far away from home. Excellent customer service...

Hotel Golden turned out to be exactly what we had been hoping for: a reasonably priced, attractive, comfortable, friendly hotel located in an appealing and safe part of Rome. The owner-operators (who live on-site in order to make sure everything is done right) are probably the most helpful and welcoming hotel proprietors we have ever met in our twenty or...

Guiseppe and his family are amazing. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. Very few hotels are so focused on providing a great guest experience as is the Hotel Golden. Guiseppe does an amazing presentation showing you all the key sights to visit in Rome and circles them on the map. The breakfast is cooked...

Stayed in the family room as we have 3 children. Comfortable and spotless. Kids loved their single beds. Bathroom was spacious and seemed new. Plenty of towels. Breakfast was good but tight to navigate. Location was perfect for exploring villa borghese, especially with kids. Staff were 5 star quality.

This small hotel is on the first floor of a residential building in a very good area in Rome, The location is excellent on the northern end of Rome just near the city walls. This is more than a hotel, it is a home away from home. The Golden family is truly one of a kind. I stopped in this tiny hotel to shake off my jet lag in transient to a spa. What a jewel, so welcoming and charming with service beyond anything I could fully communicate in this review. The basics: The location at the north city wall near the. Park borghese makes travel to every part of Rome simple by bus or metro....

We were in Rome for just two nights and booked Hotel Golden based on all the positive reviews. They are so true! This is a family run hotel, and they treat you like you're a dear relative. We arrived at almost midnight, and they greeted us with enthusiasm, patiently walked us through a map of the city, our location, the...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
