Let me start with what I can say is good about Hotel Teti, the location.
I picked Hotel Teti for location and price and the reviews on TA.
The gentleman manning the reception also was friendly.
To say we were disappointed is an understatement.I was actually searching for alternate hotel rooms after the first night, but of course anything available was very, very expensive.
I have stayed near Termini before and the convenience of having all forms of public transportation close is a real plus. There also are numerous restaurants nearby.I spent about the same amount on all the hotels we stayed in on this trip to Italy and this was definitely the least that I received for the price. We were 3 adults crammed into a tiny room. The suitcases would not even fit between the bed and the wardrobe,so we had to lift them over the bed.The shower is a phone booth, hitting my elbows numerous times.Dropping the soap was a challenge to retrieve.
The only good thing about breakfast was possibly the coffee. We ate out the other mornings. Beds are uncomfortably hard.
And then leaving at 6:45 in the morning on our last day the elevators were not working ! We had to lug our suitcases down about 4 or so flights of steps.
Well, at least the train to the airport was close.

The hotel is only a short walk from Termini station which I why I chose to stay here!! After a long day travelling I just wanted to get to my room!

Very easy to find and Sergio on reception was extremely helpful!

It’s on a busy street with lots of bars and restaurants but at night it was very quiet.

The air con is €5 extra a night but in August it’s well worth it! The bed in one of the comfiest I’ve slept in for a long while.

The rooms are small but very clean and tidy!

Breakfast is available at the hotel but as I was out and about early I didn’t eat in the hotel.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights whilst commuting on and off a cruise ship. We chose it because of the location near Termini station making easy to commute to the port but it was also very easy to walk to all landmarks in Rome. Welcoming checkin who contacted us somedays before our arrival to assist with arrival times. Friendly staff, comfortable bedding, good water pressure, lift and good air conditioning. I recommend.

If you’re travelling to Rome, this hotel has all you need. It’s 5 min walking distance from termini station where you can either get trains or metro/tube and easily get to any place of this beautiful city. On the same road there are quite few good restaurants. The place is quite and not very big so it almost feel like “home”. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly with polite manner. I would definitely recommend this place.

This hotel is definitely an A+ for budget hotels and would recommend it to friends/family when in Rome. Manager and staff are friendly and nice. Service is very efficient. Rooms are neat and nice. Near Roma Termini, restaurants, shops, etc. Very convenient for any travellers.
If I have to rate it based on its classification, this is an excellent hotel. Don't worry about breakfast...it's excellent and free.

If you're just looking for a comfortable place to sleep then I would certainly recommend this hotel.
Small 2 star superior hotel. 2 minutes walk from Termini Station. Rooms were very clean. Staff were very friendly. The area around Termini is a bit seedy but neither myself or my 10 year old daughter felt threatened. Great location. If breakfast isn't included in the price of your trip don't pay the extra for it. There are plenty of places to get a decent breakfast close by the hotel.

This place is clean, the room small but enough for a single traveler. The close proximity to Termini station is the only compelling reason to stay here. Tonight there is a lot of street noise, crowds, accordion, and violin. If I close the window, I roast. The bed is hard as well

Be prepared to cart luggage up steps until you get the elevator.

I laud the daytime staff. They are very cordial, pleasant and wanting to help

I asked for some breakfast foods in the morning because I leave for the airport early. It was repackaged small dried toast, jellies, a small cake, and yogurt. I was only getting it if I paid the mandatory city tax on the spot. I wonder if the usual breakfast is similar. This guy lacked the customer service attitude required in the hotel industry....won't be back!

I have stayed in other lower cost hotels close to Termini. This is adequate for one night.only. There are better close by.

Location: hotel is located just a couple of block from Termini and a few block from Sta. Maria Maggiore. You have plenty of public transportation options from buses to metro to tram to trains. Termini is a transportation hub so it's very useful. There are also plenty of shops and places to eat nearby.
The hotel is located in a building shared by other hotels. Upon arrival if you don't see the Teti sign look for the Hotel Milo whose sign is bigger. there's an elevator but it's very slow and you need to climb a few steps to get to it. For us it wasn't an issue using the stairs for the two floors to get to the hotel.
Hotel: the hotel is small but nicely decorated. There's free wi-fi and a very good breakfast.
Room: The room was decently sized. There is a mini fridge, safe, hair dryer and toiletries. For the most part it was clean, however the blankets were full of hairs and some smelled bad. They changed them after a very cold first night and although the new ones were clean-smelling they use the kind of thick blankets that's impossible to avoid getting hair tangled in the fiber and they are a bit gross. This type of blankets shouldn't be used in hotels because it's impossible to get them completely clean. That's the only thing that made me uncomfortable during my stay. Other than that it was a great selection mainly because of the location.
The outside door is locked at night but just buzz them and they'll open.
