Great location and the receptionist was really nice and helpful. The only thing is that you need to talk to them if you would like to use the air conditioner, which is very important is this kind of weather.

It's not a bad walk from the Train Station (Termini), just walk out the back of the station for about 4 blocks and turn right on Via Palestro and it's a short distance on your right. The building has other Hotels within the same building. Take the elevator up to the 5th floor. There is a buzzer to press and...

It's hard to locate the place because it's on the upper floor with many other hotels downstairs. The elevator is really old and a bit scary... no service and you still have to call the guy if you need something. We got a triple room and it was clean specially the bathroom. we were there during August and it was...

First they moved us for another place, with private bathroom, but the shower was overflowing. The lift is very old, shakes a lot. There are no service at the hotel, you have to call on the interphone and wait until the guy comes from another place. Not a good place to stay.

We were in Rome for one night to catch a flight the next day. When we arrived, we rang the intercom and was asked to go to the ground floor (tiny old elevator to the 5th floor). A guy greeted us and took us to a hotel across the street for check in. Seemed strange at first but the check...

I staied there with friends for 2 nights. the rooms are in an old building near the station, the place was very small with no staff, we had to call by interphone and they came from another hotel. We have booked this hotel because it was near from the termini station. But when we get there, some things did not please us so much. First was that we have to check out at 10 am (no problem, because almost all hotels have the same politics), but they could not have our luggage until the time of our flight....

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
